The Best Entrance To A New Year

There are many gates to the New Year, which one have you decided to use? People, things, and circumstances often determine the decisions or the steps people take in life. However, none of the above can force you to choose their way, you are the one to finally make the decision and implement it. This post tells you the best entrance to the New Year.

There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death – Proverbs 14:12 (NKJV).

And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts – Revelation 21:6 (NKJV).

Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it – Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV).

Introduction

There are many wide-open gates to the New Year. These include the ungrateful gate, the murmuring and complaining gate, the offence gate, the frustrated gate, the depressed gate, the disappointed gate, etc. However, there is also the narrow gate of praise and thanksgiving. so, which one are you going to go through into the New Year?

You may have ‘genuine reasons’ why you should go through one of the wide gates, but is it the best entrance to use? Truly, they may seem right to you, but the end is the way of destruction and death (Proverbs 14:12, Matthew 7:13). Though the narrow gate of praise and thanksgiving may be difficult considering your genuine reasons, it leads to life (Matthew 7:14). So, be among the few who will find it. Read more...

How To Seek First The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness

It's one thing to know why you should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. And yet, another thing to know how to do so. However, the good news is that the Lord cannot ask us to do what is impossible. So, this post tells us how to seek first the Lord's kingdom.

Introduction

Many Christians find it difficult to put God first in their lives. This is because they haven't learned how to do so. And the scripture says that we can do nothing without Christ. And another scripture says that it's not by our power or might but by the Spirit of God that we can do anything. Therefore, the Lord will work in you to do His will.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing - John 15:5 (NKJV).

So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts - Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV).

For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure - Philippians 2:13 (NKJV).

How To Seek First The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness

1. Be Born again - empowered by the Holy Spirit

The first place to start is to give your life to Jesus and make Him your Saviour and the Lord of your life. This is what it means to be born again. And it's important you do this first because you can't seek the kingdom of God when you're in the devil's kingdom. Also, when you receive Christ, you receive the Holy Spirit too, who empowers you to do the will of God.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” - John 3:3, 5 (NKJV). Read more...

Seven Reasons To Seek First The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness

Do you wonder why it's so important to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness? Truly, the Lord is the God of purpose. And He wouldn't ask us to do a thing if it's not for a good cause. Even so, this instruction of God is for good. Therefore, in this post reasons to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness are given.

Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you - Matthew 6:31-33 (NKJV).

Introduction

The commandments of the Lord are not grievous instructions. For the thoughts of God for us are not evil but good, to give us a future and a hope. And it's obedience to His instructions that leads us to that great future and hope He has for us. However, we're creatures of choice and can decide what to do and when to do it. So, to help us make the right choices, Christ instructed us to first seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness before any other thing. This will eventually help us to better prioritize the other things in our lives. So what else do you gain seeking God's kingdom first?

Reasons To Seek First The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness

1. Easy access to your heart desires in Christ.

Many are busy struggling to meet their needs, and in the process, they hurt people and many times themselves. Yet, there is a better and easier way to meet these needs without hurting anyone. This was what Christ offered to us through the instruction given in Matthew 6:33. As such, as you focus on doing the will of the Lord, God ensures that you lack nothing good. Truly, He knows that you have a need for these things and knows exactly how to get them across to you. This He will do without stress. For everything was created by Him and is under His command. So, He has no problem providing for you when you mind His kingdom.

2. Anxiety free life

You can't focus on the Lord and still be anxious. This is because your faith in God and His ability to provide and take care of you is built up. And faith and anxiety don't go together; you can only manifest one at a time. Also, the Prince of peace will keep you in perfect peace as you mind His kingdom. Read more...

What Is ‘Seek First The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness’? PART 2

Some Christians think they're putting God first in their lives when in actual fact they're putting themselves, their families, or work first. And some others put God as the last resort or an alternative. Unfortunately, the Lord does not compromise His position in our lives. And as the scripture says, we're not to have any other god before Him. And anything we put before Him in our lives is a god in our lives. This is why you must understand what seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness means. Truly, this will help you to examine your walk with Him and align properly.

What Is 'Seek First The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness? (Contd)

7. It's to put aside your personality for the cause of God

This was what Christ did when He came to earth because He loved God, the Father, and desired to seek His kingdom first. So, He put aside His personality as God, and came and died the most shameful death on the cross. This He suffered because He chose to put the kingdom of God first.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross - Philippians 2:5-8 (NKJV).

8. It's to subdue the desires of the flesh to walk in the Spirit.

Seeking the Lord's kingdom and His righteousness demands that you put aside the desires of the flesh and obey His word. That is, it's saying NO to what the flesh is asking you to do and saying YES to what the Spirit of God is telling you to do. And by so doing you put God first.

I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires - Galatians 5:16, 24 (NKJV).

9. Reaching out to God first in the midst of challenges or chaos

Many times, people don't remember to consult the Lord until they have exhausted all their alternatives. This displeases God and shows that you don't believe in Him and all He stands for. Unfortunately, considering Him as a last resort will either make you never get your desire or delay it greatly. So, always go to the Lord first for help, no matter the pressure or who is involved, or time frame. And a simple but short heart cry within you, with faith in God, will make a great difference. What Is 'Seek First The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness'? PART 1

Do you really seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness? This is putting God and everything concerning Him first before anything else. An understanding of what seeking God first means will help you to do so consciously and enjoy its blessings. So, this post explains what seeking God and His righteousness first means.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine - Proverbs 3:5-6, 9-10 (NKJV).

You shall have no other gods before Me - Exodus 20:3 (NKJV).

Introduction

Some Christians think they're putting God first in their lives when in fact they're putting themselves, their families, or work first. And some others put God as the last resort or an alternative. Unfortunately, the Lord does not compromise His place in our lives. And as the scripture says, we're not to have any other god before Him. And anything we put before Him in our lives is a god in our lives. This is why you must understand what seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness means. Truly, this will help you to examine your walk with Him and align properly.

What Is 'Seek First The Kingdom Of God And His Righteousness?

This is an instruction given to us by Christ, as He admonished that we shouldn't worry about anything. Rather, that we should seek first His Kingdom and righteousness. That God, the Father, knows that we have need of the things we seek. And that seeking God's kingdom first ensures that we have every other thing added to us.

So, what does this mean?

1. It means living right and living for God and doing everything to please Him.

Hence, whatever you do, do because of the Lord and for Him. So, you wake up knowing that you’re to represent Christ in all you're going to do for the day. Read more...

The Kingdom Of God Is What You Seek First With His Righteousness

Have you wondered why your prayer list seems to stay the same or why your prayer remains unanswered? Truly, God answers prayers, not on your terms but in His terms. So, if you desire to receive answers to your prayers, then you need to discover what His terms are. And this post gives one important term, which is 'Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

The Challenge

Many people get frustrated with their unanswered prayers while waiting for the Lord to answer them. And they have cried, begged, prayed, and praised God, yet the challenge is still there. This is the situation of many believers. And some have given up, while others are still hoping that one day, their change will come. But these will not bring about the desired change.

And some Christians are so worried about tomorrow: what to eat, drink and wear, that worry has become their main preoccupation. Yet Christ says that we should not worry over these things, that our heavenly Father knows that we have need of these things. And He went ahead to give us what we should rather be doing. This is to seek first the kingdom and His righteousness, and every other thing will He add to us. Read more...

10 Things You Need to Know About Praying With an Unknown Tongue

Do you also speak with an unknown tongue? Speaking with an unknown tongue is another important use of a believer's tongue. And an understanding of it will greatly enhance your Christian walk with God. So, this post gives you what you need to know about praying with an unknown tongue.

Listen carefully: I am sending the Promise of My Father [the Holy Spirit] upon you; but you are to remain in the city [of Jerusalem] until you are clothed (fully equipped) with power from on high. - Luke 24:49 AMP

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance - Acts 2:1-4(NKJV).

What is an unknown Tongue?

Unknown tongue is the language of the Holy Spirit spoken by man, who has no understanding of what he is speaking. Also, it is the first evidence of the promise of the Father, an outpouring of the His Spirit, for the last days. And Christ released this outpouring (Baptism of the Holy Spirit) on Pentecost day.

Speaking In Tongues

This is also known as speaking in an unknown tongue, and a mystery from the Almighty Father. This empowers a believer to serve the Lord and do exploits in His kingdom. And Christ told His disciples not to leave Jerusalem until they're endured with this power. So, after the baptism, Peter, who couldn't face a maid, stood before a multitude and openly identified with Christ. And he boldly preached Christ and salvation to them, leading many to Christ (Acts 2:1-41).

What You Need To Know About praying In Tongues

1. It's a gift of the Holy Spirit

Speaking in tongues is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. And is given to every believer, who opens up to receive it.

To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues - 1 Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV).

2. You don't understand it

It's a language you speak but you lack understanding of what you're saying, except where you can interpret too. Read more...

The Righteousness Man And His Way Of Life With His Tongue

Are you righteous? And if so, what is said of you and your tongue? Truly, the tongue of a righteous person defines him. Hence, your tongue validates your claim as a righteous person. So, this post gives the way of life of a righteous man with his tongue.

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist - Luke 21:15 NKJV

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much - James 5:16 (NKJV).

Introduction

God has given a righteous man the kind of mouth, which his enemies cannot resist or contradict. And this mouth is able to pray fervently and great things will happen. Truly, the tongue of a righteous man is that powerful because of his stand with God. Also, he aligns his words and actions according to the word of God. And he has a touch of God on his tongue. This you can deduce by the effect of his words on other people.

The Righteous Person And His Tongue

1. He Speaks Wisdom And Justice

One important thing about the mouth of a righteous person is that it speaks wisdom and justice. This is because of his association with the only wise God and his alignment with His words. And wisdom is the principal thing to get in life. This is because any challenge in life is a wisdom problem. And knowing the wisdom to apply is to have that challenge fifty percent solved. Furthermore, this wisdom virtue helps the righteous man to speak, behave and treat people justly.

The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of justice - Psalms 37:30 NKJV

How To Control Your Tongue To Eat The Good Fruits Of The Mouth

Are you satisfied with the fruits of your mouth? Truly, you will have what you say. However, you can control your mouth and decide the kind of fruit it will produce. So, there is a need for you to learn how to control your tongue to eat the good fruits of the mouth.

A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him - Proverbs 12:14 (NKJV).

For “He who would love life and see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit - I Peter 3:10 (NKJV).

Introduction

It's God's desire to give you the good things of life, but you receive them by the words of your mouth. This is because you will have what you say. However, many are not eating the good fruits of the mouth but the bad fruits. Therefore, it's important that you restrain your words and speak only what will yield good fruits for you.

In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise - Proverbs 10:19 (NKJV).

How To Control Your Tongue

1. Guard your tongue

Since your mouth determines your present and future, you need to watch over it. This is to ensure it delivers to you only what you would want to have. Also, you keep troubles far from you when you guard your mouth and tongue

Whoever guards his mouth and tongue Keeps his soul from troubles - Proverbs 21:23 (NKJV).

2. Make a decision not to misuse your tongue

You have to take responsibility for what you say. So, you make a decision not to use your mouth wrongly. Surely, negative use of your tongue will backfire. And what you purpose to do, you will get empowered to accomplish. So, purpose that you will not say the wrong things.

My lips will not speak wickedness, Nor my tongue utter deceit - Job 27:4 (NKJV). Read more...

How To Effectively Use Your Tongue As God Designed It

Is your tongue a blessing to you? The tongue is truly a creative tool and has the power to deliver your blessings to you. However, you're the one that decides what it actually delivers to you. So, this post tells you how to effectively use your tongue as God designed it.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success - Joshua 1:8 (NKJV).

The Spirit of the LORD spoke by me, and His word was on my tongue - 2 Samuel 23:2 (NKJV).

Introduction

Many people desire to enjoy life but life keeps giving them the very thing they don't want. Unfortunately, most of the time, they are the cause of their challenges. This is because they have been saying the wrong things. When you speak the enemy's words, then you will have his harvests. And truly, you will have what you say. So, there is a need to learn how to effectively use your tongue.

God designed our tongues to create things as He did. And He gave us the mouth which our enemies cannot gainsay nor resist. However, until we choose to align with His instructions, we will not realize our desires. Also, we will not defeat our enemies.

How To Effectively Use Your Tongue As God Designed It.

1. Let the word of God be in your mouth

As God told Joshua, the word of the Lord is not to depart from your mouth if you want to prosper and have good success. This is because God's word created and maintains the universe. So, for you to operate in this world effectively, you must align and adhere to the instructions in the word. And anything outside the Creator's word will produce either fake or abnormal products.

Also, everything in the world listens and obeys the word of God. So, have it on your tongue, declare it at all times and you will always get things to obey you. As such, let God's word be your language at all times, and all things will be at your command. Read more...

How Our Words Affect The Lives Of Others

Have you ever been commended and how did you feel? Have you ever been insulted and how did you feel? Our words certainly affect others, either for good or bad effects. We can either, build or destroy, gather or scatter, lift or pull down, comfort or discomfort with our words.

Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks - Matthew 12:34 (NKJV).

Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers - Ephesians 4:29 (NKJV).

A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. The tongue of the wise uses knowledge rightly, but the mouth of fools pours forth foolishness - Proverbs 15:1-2 (NKJV).

Introduction

Spoken or written words are vehicles for communication. Communication is the art of passing across news, information, feeling or whatever, to somebody else. Therefore whatever we want to pass across to a person (hatred, love, joy, condemnation, honour, etc.) determines the effect it will have on the person. Also, the effects of our words are determined by our state of mind towards the person at a given point in time. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, and soft words will always turn away anger. So if you are bitter towards a person, your words will be bitter words and it will have a negative effect on the person. But if you tender in your words, you will turn away anger.

People Are Products Of The Words They Heard Or Read.

They cannot go beyond the words spoken in their lives. A child who heard encouraging, loving, and positive words will grow up being self-confident and successful in life. But a child who heard only negative words of condemnation will grow up being emotionally destabilized. The person’s life can only be changed if he chooses to re-feed himself with positive and encouraging words. And the scripture says that we should take heed to what we hear.

Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear... (Mark 4:24, NKJV)

Dr. Ben Carson, Sr., M.D. (an American neurosurgeon and the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins) is a typical example of the effects of words on a person. Sonya Carson (Dr. Carson’s mother) chose to shower her kids, Ben inclusive, with encouraging words in spite of their conditions at that time. And today her son is a product sort after greatly and a person whose story inspires others.

Words Can Either Lead A Person On The Right Or Negative Path.

Many have gone astray, are on the streets, or even in prison because some person(s) were not careful in their choice of words towards them, whereas, there are some persons who will attribute their success in life to the positive words spoken to them earlier in life by some person(s). So, like sheep, we should follow voices that will lead us aright and not strange voices. Read more...

How To Effectively Speak With God And Man And Get Answers

How good is your conversation with God and with a man? Effective communication is a vital tool in building good relationships. Truly, lasting relationships are built on the right words said at the right times. And speaking with God and man is an important aspect of a man's life. This post gives how to effectively speak with God and man and get answers.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart - Jeremiah 29:12-13 (NKJV).

Do not let unwholesome [foul, profane, worthless, vulgar] words ever come out of your mouth, but only such speech as is good for building up others, according to the need and the occasion, so that it will be a blessing to those who hear [you speak] - Ephesians 4:29 (AMP).

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light - Matthew 11:29-30 (NKJV, emphasis mine).

Introduction

Communication is an integral part of our everyday activities. And in addition to talking with men, we Christians also talk with God Almighty. Generally, to talk is easy, but knowing to edify our hearers is another thing entirely. However, if you know how to talk to God, you will know how to talk to man. And Christ said we should learn from Him. So, as you learn to effectively communicate with God, you will discover that you also, can effectively communicate with men. And one important thing about communicating with God and man is to be quick to hear, slow to speak, and to wrath. Again, communication is a two-way process; you speak and God speaks. So, ensure you listen to hear the Lord speak to you too. And learn how to effectively speak with God and man and get answers.

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath - James 1:19 (NKJV)

Speaking With God

God desires to talk with you, and He has given us the way to Him; however, you have to take the first steps towards Him. And He said that when we call on Him, He will listen, but you have to do it with all your heart.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart - Jeremiah 29:12-13 (NKJV). Read more...

Call Forth Your Harvest On Every Seed Sown

Are you sowing and not receiving your harvest? The challenge may be that you are not deliberately harvesting the fruits from your seeds sown. Every seed sown on the right soil that is watered well brings forth fruit and must be harvested; otherwise it will remain or be spoilt in the field. This post encourages you to call forth your harvest on all your sown seeds.

While the earth remains, seed-time and harvest, Cold and heat, winter and summer, And day and night shall not cease - Genesis 8:22 (NKJV).

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again - Luke 6:38 (KJV).

A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth; from the produce of his lips he shall be filled - Proverbs 18:20 (NKJV).

Introduction

Many Christians are good sowers but poor reapers. They just keep sowing and not reaping, they get only droplets and not the showers. Thank God for His mercies. You have to consciously harvest your fruits just like you consciously sow your seeds! The farmer sows his seeds and goes back to harvest his fruits. So, you should sow and reap your fruits.

Were your seeds accepted? Did you give willingly (2 Corinthians 8:12), cheerfully (2 Corinthians 9:7) and in love (1 Corinthians 13:3)? If yes, then you have fruits to harvest. It's time to call forth your harvest. You are the one delaying your harvest. As long as the earth remains, seed-time and harvest shall not cease (Genesis 8:22). God promises that when you give, it will be given back to you by men, in pressed down, shaken together and running over measure according to what you gave (Luke 6:38).

HOW DO YOU CALL FORTH YOUR HARVEST?

1. Thank God for the grace, privilege and opportunity to give (2 Corinthians 8:1-7)

The Lord gives the grace to give and so should not be taken for granted. Many people have not received this grace though it's available to all and so find it difficult to give. You should always be grateful to God for this grace. Those who don't have this grace can't speak of supernatural abundance, rather poverty is near them (Proverbs 11:24). Read more...

Decree A Thing And God Will Establish It Unto You

Have you ever decreed anything and it came to pass? This authority, God gave to all, who qualify and use it, that they may enjoy its blessings. And until you use this authority, the enemy will keep hindering God's best from coming your way. Therefore, you're encouraged to decree a thing and God will establish it unto you.

If you return to the Almighty [and submit and humble yourself before Him], you will be built up [and restored]; If you remove unrighteousness far from your tents, And place your gold in the dust, And the gold of Ophir among the stones of the brooks [considering it of little value], And make the Almighty your gold And your precious silver, Then you will have delight in the Almighty, And you will lift up your face to God. You will pray to Him, and He will hear you, and you will pay your vows.

You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways. When you are cast down and humbled, you will speak with confidence, and the humble person He will lift up and save. He will even rescue the one [for whom you intercede] who is not innocent, and he will be rescued through the cleanness of your hands - Job 22:23-30 (AMP, emphasis mine).

Introduction

A decree is an official command that has the backing of the full force of law. And to establish is to put up something on a permanent foundation. So, when Christians decree a thing, they have the full backing of God and it's permanent. Also, when Christians decree things, they establish the will of God on earth that it be as it is in heaven. Unfortunately, many believers are not exercising this authority in Christ, which is by word of mouth in faith.

What Do You Decree?

For you to decree and it's established, you have to take the word of God and speak it out. This will put God's word to work to create His will in your life. Also, decreeing God's word is to engage the backing of God, the highest authority, both in the spiritual and physical realm. So, choose to decree God’s word over your life, family, situations, or the challenge facing and it will be established. Remember, the Lord created the world by His spoken words. Therefore, decreeing the word of God is engaging the creative power in His word. Read more...

Open Your Mouth Amazingly Wide And God Will Fill It

Is your mouth open and filled by God? This is a simple instruction from God which many Christians are not obeying. Yet, it's an avenue by which God shows Himself mighty and faithful on our behalf. So, in this post, you're encouraged to open your mouth wide and God will fill it.

I am the LORD your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. “But My people would not heed My voice, And Israel would have none of Me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, to walk in their own counsels. “Oh, that My people would listen to Me, That Israel would walk in My ways! I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn My hand against their adversaries. The haters of the LORD would pretend submission to Him, but their fate would endure forever. He would have fed them also with the finest of wheat; and with honey from the rock I would have satisfied you - Psalms 81:10-16 (NKJV, emphasis mine).

Introduction

Your victory in life lies in the use of your mouth. It is a tool that God uses to bless us when we use it as He specified. However, many people don't enjoy the use of their mouth because they use it as they like, following their own counsel. But when you open your mouth wide God will fill it and you will be full.

What Does It Mean To Open Mouth Wide And God Will Fill It?

This is to boldly declare God's word at all times and to ask whatever you want from God. Certainly, to close your mouth is to shut down your destiny. And God is more than able to do whatever you say in faith. So, don't say or ask for small things, rather boldly ask for big things in faith? Therefore, opening your mouth wide to call forth your desires in Christ will attract answers from the Lord.

Why should you open your mouth wide?

  1. It is God Almighty who said you should open your mouth wide. Surely, He's not a small god; rather He's the one who brought the Israelites out of Egypt with outstretched hands. And He wrought great signs and wonders in Egypt that couldn't be replicated.
  2. For Him to subdue your enemies and turn His hands against your adversaries. God is waiting for you to declare His word against your enemies for Him to carry it out. But, when you keep quiet, you give Him no opportunity to fill it and use it against your enemies. Read more...

Truth Of God! Understand That You Will Have What You Say

What are you saying with your mouth? This is because what you're saying determines what you get or see in life. Truly, you are where you are presently because of the things you had said in the past. So, you can decide to restructure your life in the future by the words you are speaking today. Certainly, you shall have what you say.

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says - Mark 11:22-23 (NKJV).

Introduction

Many of the blames, people are apportioning to other people, to the nation, government or family members are actually their faults, fruits of their lips. And the pits they are in, they dug with the words of their mouth. However, if you learn to watch your words and tailor them to align with God's word, you will enjoy life.

Speak Only Your Desire

Say what you want to have and not what you have that you don't want. Surely, people are prone to declare what is happening around them. But the truth is that we can change negative situations by refusing to give them a voice and marketing. This is because what you don't water will soon die; it’s just a matter of time.

On the other hand, you can plant and water positive things with your words. So, instead of agreeing with the evil, you cancel it with your words which agree with the word of God. Christ said that if you say to a mountain to remove and be cast into the sea, you will have whatever you say. And, if you believe that those things you say will come to pass, they will come to pass. So, say only what you want to see, even if the glaring situation is the very opposite of it.

Scriptural Examples

In Genesis chapter one, God created the whole univese by the words of His mouth; He said them and they were so. Also, when the Shunammite woman's child died and Elisha asked her if all was well, she answered that it was well. And that was what she got at the end, her child came back to life and she just went and picked him up.  Read more...

The Enemy Cannot Gainsay Nor Resist The Amazing God With Your Mouth

Are you aware of the power that lies in your mouth? Some people understand and believe in this power of the tongue and are utilizing it well. On the other hand, some other people are victims of the words of their tongue. And the amazing thing is that the enemy cannot gainsay nor resist the words of certain people.

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist - Luke 21:15 (NKJV).

Stephen - And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke - Acts 6:10 (NKJV).

Introduction

Many believing Christians are not aware of what God has given them. Indeed, He has given us a mouth that the enemy cannot gainsay nor resist. And sometimes, those who know forget or lack the faith to utilize this blessing of the Lord. However, an understanding of this blessing will silence the enemy.

The Mouth That The Enemy Cannot Gainsay Nor Resist

This is a mouth that God gives to His children. And it's a mouth that speaks God's word, full of the wisdom of the Lord. Also, it's a mouth that God is with; as such it speaks words that don't attract accusations from the enemy. Hence, it's a mouth that refrains from evil and speaks no deceit.

For “He who would love life and see good days, Let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking deceit - I Peter 3:10 (NKJV).

Benefits Of Having This Mouth

When you're talking, your adversaries will not be able to deny the truth of your words, and they can't prove them wrong. So, they will certainly accept your words as the truth. Read more...
