When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And Christ told His disciples not to leave Jerusalem until they're endured with this power. So, after the baptism, Peter, who couldn't face a maid, stood before a multitude and openly identified with Christ. And he boldly preached Christ and salvation to them, leading many to Christ (Acts 2:1-41).
