Is the land where you are satisfying you with the good she has? Every land has been endowed by God with some good things which her inhabitants can benefit from. However, many people are not having the taste of the goodies that their land has to offer them; rather they are wallowing in poverty. This post reveals the secret to eating the good of the land.

If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword”; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken - Isaiah 1:19-20 (NKJV).

In a land where some people are murmuring and complaining that they are suffering and in poverty, others are making it genuinely and not out of evil practices. They are eating the good of the land.

God desires for you to enjoy the blessings He had attached to the land where you are, and He has given the key to its actualization. Operation of this key will open you up to great blessings. The key is in being willing and obedient to the Lord's instructions per time.

Be willing and obedient

This is one wisdom God has laid down in order for us to live successfully on earth. You must be both willing and obedient to the Lord in order to eat the good of the land. Being obedient and yet unwilling will not yield good fruits to you, so also will being willing and not obedient yield nothing to you. God has a plan and purpose for every individual. A discovery and pursuit of it will yield great fruits for you. Many Christians, though they know God's plan for them are not willing to pursue it. Some disobey because they think the Lord's plan is not ideal for them, while others are bothered about the contrary opinion of the society, family and friends. I am the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it. But My people would not heed My voice, and Israel would have none of Me. God, the only wise One, gave the children of Israel a wisdom word for their triumph and blessings, but they rejected it. They chose to walk in their own counsels and not the Lord’s way. This led to them being in want and subjected to defeat by their enemies.  What was the wisdom word from God? God said, “Open your mouth wide and I will fill it.” God is saying the same today to you.

To shut your mouth is to shut down your future or develop a stunted life. Your mouth determines what comes to you on daily basis. The words you speak are seeds that will germinate to produce fruits (Proverbs 12:14). Bad seeds will produce bad fruits and good seeds will produce good fruits. When you are generous with planting good seeds, you will get bountiful harvest of good fruits and vice versa, so also, when you are generous with speaking the right words, you will have bountiful harvest of victories and blessings. What has wisdom got to offer you? Wisdom is a great virtue that anyone living on earth should possess to enjoy his or her time here. God founded the earth by wisdom and so having it is a sure foundation for you, so that you won’t stumble. She should be your number one possession for a glorious life on earth. Wisdom is of great value. Her proceeds far outweigh the profits you will get from beautiful and expensive gems like gold, diamond and rubies. There is nothing you desire that can be compared to her. Life with wisdom is a life that is complete. Jesus grew in wisdom and this greatly manifested in His life in the works that He did. So, let's look at what wisdom has to offer.

Benefits of wisdom

1. Long life

Wisdom promises to give you long life. Walking in wisdom keeps you from doing things that will jeopardize your life. She keeps you healthy and sound. She orders your footsteps aright and ensures that you don't fall into the traps of the enemy.

2. Riches

Wealth accompanies those who walk in wisdom. When you follow the instructions of God concerning money, riches will follow you. So don't run after riches, run after wisdom and riches will run after you.

3. Honour

This means high respect or great esteem. Walking in wisdom confers these on you. You don't demand for respect but you earn it as you walk in wisdom. Having her commands respect from people and they will hold you in high esteem.

4. Pleasantness

Many Christians think that it's not easy to get anything from God and this includes divine wisdom. However, God said we should just ask in faith and we will receive whatsoever we desire. It is God's will that you walk in wisdom and so is ever ready to give it to whoever asks for it or positions himself or herself for it.

How to receive divine wisdom

1. Have the fear of God

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). It positions you to receive God's wisdom. It makes you accountable to God and so checks what you say, do and where you go. It was the fear of God that made Joseph to flee from Potiphar's wife and her request (Genesis 39:7-12, Genesis 42:18). He acted in wisdom.

2. Desire and Ask God to give you wisdom.

Have a desire to have wisdom and ask the Lord for it. God said that if you delight yourself in Him He will grant the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). However, you must ask in faith, otherwise you will not receive anything from Him (James 1:5-7). Ask and God will generously give you without any reproach. Where Will Wisdom Be Found?

Where can you find wisdom for living? If wisdom is crucial for living on earth, then it is a virtue you must search for and possess. Interestingly, it seems not to be easily accessible, otherwise many people will possess it. This post aims to direct you to the right source and access to wisdom.

But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? Man does not know its value, nor is it found in the land of the living. The deep says, ‘It is not in me’; and the sea says, ‘It is not with me.’ It cannot be purchased for gold, nor can silver be weighed for its price. Destruction and Death say, ‘We have heard a report about it with our ears.’ God understands its way, and He knows its place – Job 28:12-15, 22-23 (NKJV).

Wisdom is fifty percent of the solution to people’s challenges, therefore, discovering the wisdom needed for a challenge is to have the first half of that challenge solved. Unfortunately, many people don’t know or understand this and so are endlessly struggling to solve their problems without making any headway. Some people know this but are looking for wisdom in the wrong places and so are also stuck with their problems.

Everything of value has a place to find it; so does wisdom. If you don’t know where to find it, you may end up with the fake version of it, like demonic wisdom. The book of Job 28:12-24 has things to say about the source of wisdom:

1. Man does not know the price of it.

The value of wisdom is beyond man’s imagination and so he can’t put a price tag on it or bargain for it.
