Easter Celebration-Christ, God’s Escape Route

Hallelujah! Easter celebration again! Do you really know why you celebrated? What does Christ’s death and resurrection mean to you? This post aims at giving you a better reason for celebrating Easter- Christ is God’s escape route.

And though the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teachers. Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left – Isaiah 30:20-21 (NKJV)

Many people have different reasons why they celebrate during this period; for some it’s a work free day and that’s all. But Easter celebration is much more than that. It is a time we remember how God orchestrated our salvation. Jesus is God’s wisdom and power (1 Corinthians 1:24).
Adam’s sin against God opened up the way for sin to have dominion over man. But Christ’s death and resurrection opened up God’s escape route for man. If the enemy knew he wouldn’t have killed Jesus (1 Corinthians 2:8). Hallelujah, the devil doesn’t know everything, but our God does! (Hebrews 4:13)

Sin comes with consequences which must take their due course. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ (Romans 6:23). This death includes untold challenges and ultimately damnation forever.

But God sent Jesus to redeem us from our sins and all the consequences that follow, so that if you receive Him, it becomes a reality in your life. For God so love the world that He gave His only son that if you believe in Him you will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). Read  more...

The Value Of 3x3 Is Greater Than 2x3 Any Time Anywhere

How much have you given to God and for His kingdom and how much are you expecting back? As long as the earth remains seedtime and harvest will never cease. However, seed-time must precede harvest, and what you get in return is determined by how much you have put in. This post emphasizes on the importance of good seed quality and quantity.

“While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.”- Genesis 8:22 (NKJV)

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. – 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NKJV)

Many people desire harvest without sowing a seed, and some sow little and expect great harvest. Unfortunately, the just God does not work like that. The Lord prospers the work of your hands (Deuteronomy 30:9). You must present a seed that He can prosper. It is what you sow that He multiplies.

Many people take delight in receiving from people more than in giving to people. The truth remains that God multiplies what you give and not what you receive – Oral Roberts. It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35). It is what leaves from you that is multiplied. A farmer gets increase only from what he sows, so also your increase will be from what you sow.

According to multiplication principles, when you multiply zero by anything you get zero, i.e., when you sow nothing, you get nothing. And when you sow little you will not get more than the person that has sowed much because for example, the value of 3x3 is always greater than the value of 2x3. You determine your result by the seeds you sow: considering the quality and quantity of the seeds sown, and the instructions from God as to what and how to give the seed. Read more...

Fear Toward God Not by the Precepts of Men

Do you know God and really fear Him? People often say that they fear God and do otherwise, sing how much they fear God and yet their hearts are far from God. What can be the cause of this attitude of theirs? This post states that fear towards God are not to be by the precepts of men.

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men - Isaiah 29:13, (KJV)

‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ” - Matthew 15:8-9 (NKJV)

The fear you have towards God should not be that of lip service, it should be a genuine reverence emanating from the heart, in awe of Him. It is not the kind of fear that the devil puts on people; it is the kind that comes from an understanding of who God is, His words, love, supremacy and power.

People’s worship and service unto God are not accepted by God because they are mechanical. They do it as they have been taught or as they have observed. They serve or worship God because they are asked to do so. No, it should not be. Read more...

Co-Creator With God By His Word

Do you know that you can create that thing you desire? Do you know that God is waiting for you to do something about that situation that you have been crying out to Him for?  God has finished His work and He expects you to actualize the finished work yourself by His words. This post emphasizes your ability to co-create with God by His word

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Mark 11:22-23 (NKJV)

“And the Lord spoke to me, saying: ‘You have skirted this mountain long enough; turn northward. Deuteronomy 2:2-3 (NKJV)

That situation that you have been waiting for God to do something about, God is waiting for you to do something about it. Jesus said in John 19:30 that it is finished, whatever that needs to be done for you to enjoy peace, victory and success has been completed. Any other thing that is required is to be initiated by you.

If you have faith in God, you will have whatever you say. You have stayed too long in that situation; it is time for you to take steps out of that situation. God created the entire universe by His words and He says in Mark 11:22-23 that you can do the same. What you need is the word of God and you will change that ugly situation.

Therefore, take steps to locate the word of the Lord for that situation and speak it over that situation, doubting not. Hold fast to your profession (Hebrews 10:23), no matter what is happening, till you see it come to pass. Read more...

What Is The Worth Of The Word Of God?

Have you ever valued the bible you have? How will you rank it among your possessions? The bible is the greatest asset one can have here on earth. It is the creator’s manual! This post explains the worth of the word of the Lord.

My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. Proverbs 4:20-23 (NKJV)

Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; Keep her, for she is your life. Proverbs 4:13 (NKJV)

The bible is worth your life. It cannot be equated to anything, it is more than gold or any precious stone you adore. It is life and health to you if you find it. It is the connection you have to the wisdom of the Almighty God, the creator of the whole universe.

Studying, believing and walking in the word of the Lord make you a star among stars (Daniel 12:3). It will distinguish you among your equals (Proverbs 22:29) It will truly establish you as co-creator with God (John 14:12). You will be enjoying heaven on earth, joy and peace will be the order of the day (Romans 14:17).

How can this be?
The word of God reveals to you who you are in Christ and your inheritance in Christ (Acts 20:32). It teaches you how to access and sustain them (Romans 4:13-17). It reveals to you your place in destiny (Luke 4:17-21). As you keep feeding yourself with it, you will become more like God (2 Corinthians 3:18), you will think, talk and act more like God. What is not impossible with God will not be impossible with you (Mark 9:23). Life is sweet!

But why is it not so for many?
The enemy has blinded the eyes of men that they cannot see with their eyes nor understand with their heart, so they can exercise their rights and possess their inheritance in Christ (John 12:40). Read more...
