Open Your Mouth Wide And I Will Fill It Praying In Tongues

Do you know how to enhance your prayers for greater results? Not knowing what and how to pray to get God’s attention is challenging, especially when you think you have prayed all you know to pray. However, the good news is that there is a solution to it, which is to pray in the Spirit. This post aims at telling you how to open your mouth wide praying for a change.

I am the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it – Psalm 81:10 (NKJV).

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God – Romans 8:26-27 (NKJV, emphasis mine).

The Challenge

Many Christians struggle with what to pray to receive answers to their problems. Also, sometimes they wonder if they have prayed well enough for God to answer them. Certainly, it is quite challenging especially when they need the answer urgently.

The Solution

Every challenge has a solution in God, and in this case, praying in the Spirit is the solution. This is allowing the Holy Spirit to pray through you, because He makes intercession for you according to the will of God (Romans 8:27). Also, He utters words which your mind can’t understand (1 Corinthians 14:14), as such making it difficult for any interference. However, God who searches the hearts knows what the Spirit is saying. And because the Spirit prays according to the will of God, the Lord hears the prayers and definitely releases the answers to you (1 John 5:14-15). Read more...

It's Speaking More As Believed That Blesses At The End

Have you ever wondered why your faith seems not working? Many Christians truly believe the word of God but are receiving less because they are ignorant of how faith works. As such faith is not difficult to produce results if you know how it operates. So, one major way to put your faith to work is by speaking more. This post explains why speaking more as believed blesses at the end.

And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak – 2 Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV).

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says – Mark 11:23 (NKJV).

A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him – Proverbs 12:14 (NKJV).

The Big Challenge

It is most frustrating to believe God’s word and not receive your desired result. So, what is the issue? One area to consider is your consistency in speaking what you believe; many Christians are failing it at this point. Therefore, it’s not enough to believe God’s word in your heart (the enemy believes it too and trembles, James 2:19); it’s saying as you believe it that matters most. So, you will only have what you say (Mark 11:23) and not what you don’t say!
You may have prayed the word of God (this is important), but have you spoken it? Surely, when you give voice to what you believe you activate and put it to work. Hence, God is waiting for you to speak out what you believe to deliver your desired answer to you. Read more...

What Tools To Use To Enjoy A Peaceful And Successful Year-Part 1

What year do you desire to have this year and what tools are you using to create this desired outcome? What you use determines the level and quality of your outcome. As such the first and important tool to use, I will talk about now, is the word of God. This is because the word of the Lord created the world and everything within and so your year is best created by the same word. This post gives the reason and how to use the word of the Lord to create the year you desire.

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible - Hebrews 11:3 (NKJV).

Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high - Hebrews 1:3 (NKJV).

You create your year with the Word of God

This year will not give you what you deserve but what you demand. Also, if you leave it to chance, you will weep over what you will get. So, if you crave a peaceful and successful year, you need to consciously create what you want; and a major tool to use is the very tool God used to create what we are seeing today, which have been since creation.

God created everything with the word of His mouth. He said, "let there be" and there was, and everything He created is being upheld also by His word (Hebrews 1:3). Furthermore, created in the image of the Lord, you are to operate like He does, and Mark 11:23 says that you will have what you say. Therefore, your year demands that you use God's word to create it. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you - Matthew 6:33 (NKJV).

Prepare your outside work, Make it fit for yourself in the field; and afterward build your house - Proverbs 24:27 (NKJV).

In any race, how you start affects how you run and end. So this New Year demands a great start for you to go through it and end successfully; the choice is yours. As such, wise preparation by you will yield a fruitful year for you.

The first things for the New Year

1. Thanksgiving

It is important to start the year with quality time giving thanks unto God for all He did for you last year, for bringing you into the New Year and what He intends to do for you this year. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord (Psalm 92:1). Truly, there are many things to thank God for, including your life and salvation. Birth of Christ Is the Answer to Your Challenge

Hurray! It's Christmas time and celebration of the hope of glory. Everything is subject to Christ's authority. So, an understanding of this will put a smile on you. This post encourages you to see the birth of Christ as the answer to your challenge.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace - Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV).

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins - Matthew 1:21 (NKJV).

Jesus is the reason for the season. The birth of Christ is for the rise and fall of many things in your life; fall of everything that is not of God and the rise of everything ordained of God for you. Therefore, the Lord's birth is basically for your good if you can receive it.

Christ came for a purpose

God is a God of purpose, everything He does is for a purpose and so, the birth of Christ is equally for a purpose. As such, He came to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:21), do wondrous works, and give us peace and life in abundance (John 10:10). Also, He came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), heal us by His stripes (1 Peter 2:24) and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage (Hebrews 2:15). Furthermore, as many as will take Christ's yoke upon them, will He give rest unto their souls (Matthew 11:29).

Everything is subject to Christ

All creation, including the devil and his agents, is subject to Jesus (Hebrews 2:8). This is because He made everything, through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16); without Him nothing was made that was made (John 1:3) and He heads principalities and powers (Colossians 2:10). So, everything (including the dead, John 5:25) hears His voice and does as He commands. Read more...

It's Time To Celebrate Excitedly The Goodness Of God

Are you in anyway feeling sad and unfulfilled at this time of the year? You shouldn't be and give the enemy room to rejoice over you. The greater one has done greater things for you. Therefore, this is the time to rejoice and celebrate the goodness of God. This post charges you to let go of all that wants to bring you down and celebrate the Lord who has done great things for you this year.

But for him who is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion - Ecclesiastes 9:4 (NKJV).

Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills - Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NKJV).

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! -Philippians 4:4 (NKJV).

You may not feel like praising God now because things didn't work out the way you desired this year. However, this is actually when to celebrate Him excitedly. This is the time to engage your spirit, soul and body to glorify Him for what He has done for you from the beginning of the year till now. The enemy wants you to believe you lost, I charge you not to give him that satisfaction because he is lying. God says that all things are working together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Displeased with God?

Many people are angry, displeased with God because according to them, He didn't do all that they asked of Him. I have a question for them, "Did they do all that the Lord asked of them?" Certainly, nobody should be angry with God because He did mighty things for us in-spite of our shortcomings.

Reasons to celebrate the goodness of God

1. You are alive

There is hope for the living, for a living dog is better than a dead lion (Ecclesiastes 9:4). Many people started the year with you but they are no more. Some people achieved what you desire to achieve but they are no more to enjoy the success. Read more....

Count Your Blessings Now Put Enemy On The Run

Are you still challenged in any way , but has some earlier testimonies? If so, this is the time to engage the weapon of testimonies to put the enemy on the run. Every arrow of testimony sends the devil farther away from you. This post encourages you to launch an attack against the enemy by counting your blessings and also shows you how.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death – Revelations 12:11 (NKJV).

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s – Psalm 103:1-5 (NKJV).

No matter the challenges confronting you, you can turn it around in your favour by counting your blessings. This is because your catalogue of testimonies has the power to generate more testimonies, silence and overcome the devil (Revelations 12:11).

Why Count Your Blessings

1. It wells up a heart full of thanksgiving.

Recounting what the Lord has done for you opens your mind to God’s faithfulness, love, mercy and power. This provokes thanksgiving and glorification unto God from the depth of your heart. And a heart full of thanksgiving grants you access to the Lord’s presence (Psalm 100:4), resulting in answered prayers (Psalm 16:11).

2. It commonizes the challenge

Recounting your testimonies enlarges God before you and decreases the challenge. This builds your confidence in the Lord and makes you to see Him as being bigger than your problems. Also, it dissolves any form of anxiety, fear or doubt, thereby making you see that challenge as what God will solve like other times. Read more...
