Turn Those Prayer Request To Thanksgiving

 

Introduction

Have you been praying and it's as if your prayers are not being answered? This can depress or discourage one if one is not grounded in God's love and word. It's time to switch to thanksgiving and praise for a change of story.

 

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed - Acts 16:25-26 (KJV).

 

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God - Philippians 4:6 (NKJV).

 

Thanksgiving Prayer

People have prayed for things to the point they think that God does not answer prayers or God doesn't want to answer them; yet it's not true. The word of God says we should pray and conclude with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6). When you pray according to God's will, He hears you. Since He hears you, you know that you have received the petitions that you asked of Him (1 John 5:14-15). So, the next thing to do is to thank Him till you see the manifestation of what you asked for.

 

It's time to turn those prayer requests into thanksgiving. Instead of asking for those things again and again, start thanking God for them. Thank Him for hearing your prayers and for their manifestation. This shows that you believe that God has answered your prayers and that it will soon be a reality. Praise-An Act Of Faith In God Almighty

Do you believe in God Almighty? If you do, then you should be a praiser of God. Praising God is an act of faith in God and His ability to do what He said He will do. If you believe, you will praise the Lord. This post emphasizes the need for you to praise the Father as a believing Christian.

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God - Romans 4:19-20 .NKJV).

Nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer - I Corinthians 10:10 (NKJV).

Many Christians say they believe God and His words but their actions say otherwise. They are more in doubt than they are in faith. The challenges around them are choking the word in them and they have forgotten that the just shall live by his own faith (Habakkuk 2:4) and that without faith no man can please God (Hebrews 11:6). Praise unto the Lord declares Him bigger than all

Praise, especially when you are challenged, shows that God is bigger than your problems. But when you complain and murmur, you are saying that the problem is bigger than God. Paul and Silas were locked up in prison for preaching the gospel. Instead of murmuring against God, they chose to praise Him. Praise As A Life Style Is What You Need At This Time

Do you know that life without praise unto God is a disaster? Praise unto the Lord is the solution for the challenges of life at this time. As such, making praise a life style is absolutely a wise decision. This post emphasizes the need to be praising the Father as a lifestyle.

But You are holy, O You who are enthroned in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered] - Psalm 22:3 (AMP).

Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him - Psalms 67:5-7 (NKJV).

The vine has dried up, and the fig tree has withered; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree— All the trees of the field are withered; surely joy has withered away from the sons of men - Joel 1:12 (NKJV).

The enemy has so screwed this earth that many people are living in fear, anger, hunger, sickness and disease, poverty, depression and frustration. It now looks as if it is the normal thing. However, it was not so originally. It is the absence of adequate praise unto the Lord that resulted in what we are seeing and experiencing this day.

Praise changes the atmosphere of a place. It determines what force or power that takes charge of an environment or situation. Praise unto God brings Him to the scene while praise to the devil attracts the enemy. Are you wondering how people praise the devil? Any time you are declaring the works of the enemy you are praising him. You are expected to declare the works of God at all times.

What happens when you praise God?

1. God dwells with you - Psalm 22:3

God dwells wherever praise is offered. This leads to abundant joy because you find joy in the presence of God (Psalm 16:11). Where there is joy, there is fruitfulness and no dryness. The Surest Way To Abundance

Do you desire increase in life? Have you done all you could to live in abundance and yet to no avail? Health, riches and long life are not exclusive to a few set of people, they are available for all to enjoy. The question is how do you access them to enjoy their benefits? This post exposes the surest way to access increase and abundance.

You may have done so many things to enjoy abundance and increase on every side: hard work, confessions and declarations, fasting and praying and yet you have no testimony to show for it. I have good news for you, there is a sure way to enjoy abundance.

Praise unto God is the surest way to a life of good health, riches and long life. It is the key to an overflowing prosperity. God is the source of ever increasing abundance and praise is the key to His presence, Psalm 100:1-4. God always dwells in your praise unto Him, Psalm 22:3.

The scriptures in Psalm 67:5-7 make us to understand that the earth will not yield her increase until praises go up to God. Also, God's blessings will not follow you until you praise God.

Praise is like you watering your seeds sown to have a harvest: your seeds of hard work, faithfulness, prayers, tithes and offerings, and sacrifices. Until your plants receive adequate supply of water, your desire of abundant harvest is merely a dream. So also until you give God quality praise, acceptable unto Him, your desire for abundance is just a mere dream. This is because God only gives the increase, 1 Corinthians 3:6.
