Have you ever wondered whether you really need to walk in the covenant of prosperity? Some people think that it is not necessary to tithe and give offering in order to prosper. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” says the Lord of hosts – Malachi 3:10-11 (NKJV).

A covenant relates to the agreement between two or more parties, whereby each party has a part to play in order to reap the benefits of the covenant. In the covenant of financial prosperity, it is an agreement between God and His people for financial blessings. Malachi 3:10-11 is an example of such agreement between God and His people. It states what is expected of God and His people for them to enjoy the benefits of the agreement. The man is to bring all his tithes into the house of God and God will release His blessing (benefits of tithing) upon him.
