God Rewards A Soul Winner Very Well

Does it pay to be a soul winner? Certainly, it pays to engage in soul winning endeavours . This is because your Master, God Almighty, diligently rewards those that obey Him. And He doesn't 'use' people, rather, He rewards handsomely.

But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded! - 2 Chronicles 15:7 (NKJV).

God Rewards

God owes no man, and your work shall surely be rewarded. And He will always give you what is due to you and much more. This is sure because He who said that the labourer is worthy of his wages will certainly not owe.

Therefore, as you go out to win souls for Christ, be rest assured that God will reward you. He rewards those that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). And He will not forget your labour of love (Hebrews 6:10).

The Lord rewards openly

God sees your works, both those done in the secret and in the open. For nothing is hidden from Him. Therefore, even when no man sees you to appreciate you, God sees and will openly reward you (Matthew 6:4)

The Holy Spirit is a witness to all your soul winning endeavours and nothing you do in the name of Christ will go unnoticed. And He will reward you for all men to see and glorify Him. Also, it will encourage other believers to go and fish men for Christ. In addition, it will encourage those who are serving God to continue and don't give up. For God will surely reward them too.

What God rewards

God will reward you for your good works. Everything you do for the furtherance of the kingdom, the Lord rewards. This includes soul winning. Also, the Lord rewards faithfulness. So, it's not enough to just do good work, it's important that you do it faithfully (Matthew 25:21). For the Lord is a God of details and He weighs every action of ours. Read more...

There Will Be Levels In Heaven

How diligent are you serving God? Are you running to receive a crown or are you beating the air (1 Corinthians 9:24-27)? This Christian race is real and there will be prizes. You are the one that determine your prize. This post stresses the need for you prepare for the level you desire.

Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire – 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 (NKJV).

What do you think? Do you think it will be right to serve God with all your energy, time, money and all (Matthew 22:37) and then come and get the same prize with someone who just made sure he didn’t go to hell? What you sow, you will reap; sow bountifully, you will reap bountifully, sow sparingly and you will reap sparingly (2 Corinthians 9:6). God is a rewarder (Hebrew 11:6), and He is coming with His rewards and He will reward you according to your works (Romans 2:6, Revelations 22:12, Isaiah 40:10, Isaiah 62:11, Matthew 16:27). Brethren, there will be levels in heaven.

Two people will be at the sides of Jesus (Mark 10:35-40), the apostles will be rule over the twelve tribes of Israel (Luke 22:28-30), some will be at the bosom of Abraham (Luke 16:22), some will have authority over ten, five cities, and yet some none (Luke 19:11-27), and some may be door keepers (Psalm 84:10). Some are building with gold, others with silver or precious stones, and yet others with wood, hay, and straw, and the results are all different. Some may suffer loss but they will make heaven. What are you building with?

How To Qualify For God’s Reward

Many are working for God but seem not to be getting any rewards, what could be the problem? Acceptable service unto God always attracts rewards from God. God owes no man but handsomely rewards anyone who qualifies for it. This post gives a summary of how to obtain God's reward.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him - Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)

Do not look upon me, because I am dark, because the sun has tanned me. My mother's sons were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards, But my own vineyard I have not kept - Song of Solomon 1:6 (NKJV)

'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me - Matthew 15:8 (NKJV)

It's one thing to qualify for a reward in the sight of men and another to qualify before the Lord. God, who is the rewarder, knows those who are due for rewards at any point in time; and when your cloud is full, surely your showers of blessing will pour down.

How to obtain God's reward for serving Him
  1. Do it rightly and acceptably
God rewards you for doing things according to His word and purpose, not according to your own way. When Uzzah tried to steady the ark when the oxen stumbled, God struck him and he died - 2 Samuel 6:6-7. He did a good thing but not the right thing; it was not acceptable before God. Also the lady in Song of Solomon 1:6 was working but not her own work. The work that would fetch her rewards she left undone. There is no pay for unassigned work done.
  1. Do it joyfully
Serve God with joy and gladness of heart; otherwise, instead of rewards you will get sorrows and losses - Deuteronomy 28:47. God loves cheerful givers - 2 Corinthians 9:7. Give your service with joy and cheerfulness and it will be acceptable before God.
  1. Serve with all your heart
God's reward is for those who serve Him with their heart. Man looks at the outward appearance but God looks at the heart - 1 Samuel 16:7. God knows if your heart is not in what you are doing (Matthew 15:8); man may reward you for it but not God. And God's rewards are far better than man's rewards. Read more...

God Rewards Diligent Labourers

Are there prayer requests that you diligently want God to answer? Do you know that God rewards those that diligently seek Him? Many people are serving God but it seems as if God is not looking their direction to meet their needs. This post gives the reason(s) why they may be hindered from receiving their heart desires from God and the solution.

So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your land; I will fulfill the number of your days - Exodus 23:25-26 (NKJV)

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him - Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)

For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain," and, "The laborer is worthy of his wages." - 1 Timothy 5:18 (NKJV)

The foundational question is "what are you diligently seeking?" Many people are serving God in different areas but are diligently seeking other things besides God; it may be financial breakthrough, healing, children, career excellence or life partner. They may be serving because it is the right thing to do, or because of their love for God or because of what people may say if they don't, but their diligence is channeled to another thing entirely.

One thing you must always remember is that God rewards those that diligently seek Him.
When you serve God, you become a candidate for God's blessings: His blessings over your bread and water, sickness free life, fruitfulness and long life. But it takes faith to please God, to provoke God to fulfill His word in your life. You must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him.

So, you serve because you love God, and in addition, with the expectation that God will reward you for your service. You must believe that God will reward you if you want to receive from Him. Now, you are not to serve God for what you will get but you must believe that he who said, "the labourer is worthy of his wages", will not owe Himself. Read more...
