This Christian Race

If you're saved in Christ, do you know that you're in a Christian race to heaven? Many Christians are so casual about this truth that they're missing it, and they are not even aware of it. Christianity is a race. And the sooner, Christians become serious with it, the greater their chances of making it to the finishing line.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified - I Corinthians 9:24-27 (NKJV).

The State of the Nominal Christian

Many believing Christians act as if Christianity is only about giving your life to Christ. And many have remained with this mindset for many years. So, they end up not being different from an unbeliever, except that they keep telling themselves that they're believers. However, this is a deceit from the pit of hell.

It's unfortunate that many believing Christians take their career or business more seriously than they do their Christian life. And they spend all the time, energy, and money to prepare and acquire what they desire concerning their work, mental or physical goals. But they will spend little or no time for their spiritual life. This is because they consider it as being trivial. And this is what the enemy wants them to believe so that they will miss the crown.

Christianity is a race and we're gunning for the imperishable crown which God will give all who will run to obtain it. So, you're to run, observing the rules, in order to obtain the crown. Going to the Church of God With This COVID-19 Virus

Should you attend church services with the Coronavirus pandemic? Now, Churches can hold services in some places. However, many Christians are yet to resume services in their various churches. But these same persons go to the shops, banks, markets and their offices. Should going to church during COVID-19 then be an issue?

But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, And there shall be holiness; The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions - Obadiah 1:17 (NKJV).

For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them - Matthew 18:20 (NKJV).

The cases of COVID-19 have made many people not to go out the way they use to. And most people only go out of their residence when they have no other choice. So, many places are presently out of bounds for such people. And the church is one such place. But should the church be part of them?

Fear of death is the main reason why some people don't attend church services during this pandemic. And this is because of the numerous reported death cases of people who contracted the COVID-19. So, everyone is trying as much as lies within their power to avoid contracting the virus.

Should you avoid church services?

You're to adhere to the recommended precautions for avoiding COVID-19 disease at all times once outside your residence. These include the social distancing, wearing face masks, and the use of sanitizer and frequent washing of hands.

Soul-winning is the heartbeat of God and it's the ministry given to every Christian believer. However, for you to effectively win souls for Christ, you must learn how to do so. So, this post tells you how to win souls for Christ.

For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher - Romans 10:13-14 (NKJV).

2. Prayer and fasting

This is a very important aspect of soul winning. This is because you can't win souls in the energy of the flesh. It is the Father that draws people to Christ (John 6:44).

Also, it is the Holy Spirit that converts and not you. So, you need to engage the help of the Holy Spirit. And you do this through prayers. Also, adding fasting to prayer helps you to be more sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

In prayers, you ask the Spirit of God to lead you, speak through you, and convert the individual (Ephesians 6:19-20). Also, you ask Him to give you the wisdom for each person you desire to lead to Christ. This is because the method you used for one may not work on another. And the individual thoughts, mindset, or ideas of things differ from one person to another.

Furthermore, in prayers, you ask the Holy Spirit to open the hearts of the people to receive the gospel of Christ. 2. Reconciliation back to God

God has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that we should go and reconcile people back to God. And soul winning makes it possible to reconcile men back to God. This mandate originated from the fall of man when Adam sold out to the serpent. And man was cut off from the fellowship he had with God. This is because man died when Adam and Eve ate the fruit (Genesis 3:3).

So, God went ahead to initiate the arrival of Jesus that through him men may be reconciled back to Him. And it's only through soul winning that people get the opportunity to return back to God.

3. Salvation from all evils

When a person receives Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour, he receives a total package of redemption. So, he is saved spirit, soul, and body from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 91:9-10). Therefore, new birth doesn't only reconcile the person back to God but also delivers healing to the body and deliverance from all satanic oppressions. One World Religion-It's Time To Examine Yourself

Many Christians are wondering about the One World Religion that is seriously coming up now. And all manner posts, videos, comments, and so on are out there in the media and online. This is agitating many Christian believers. But what truly should be our concern at this time? This is the time to examine yourself.

And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”

All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed - Revelation 13:3-4, 8, 12 (NKJV).

The scriptural basis for One world religion

Some people wonder if one world religion is in the scriptures. And the answer is YES. However, you will not find it written like that in the bible. But the scriptures do describe a one-world religion. For instance, in Revelations 13:3-4, 8, 12, the scriptures describe a time when the whole world will worship the beast except those whose names are in the book of life. And these would be the believing Christians. This means no other thing will be worshipped at that time but the beast, that is One Religion.

The scriptures must be fulfilled

Therefore, the truth is that One World Religion will surely come to pass. For, it is one of the major events that must take place before the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
