Having Done All, Stand

Do you feel you've done all and you want to quit? No, it's not time to quit but time to stand. When you have done all, the next thing to do is to remain standing. As long as you are standing, you will not be defeated. This post urges you to keep standing when you have done all you know to do.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—Ephesians 6:13-18 (NKJV).

Are you struggling with your business, career, health, children and you are about to give up? Quitting is not an option. If it is for a good cause and the Holy Spirit is not prompting you that you are in the wrong, then you must stand. Victory has been declared concerning that issue, yours is to stand to see it fulfilled. This may seem difficult but you need to stand, being strong in the Lord and guarding yourself with the whole armour of God.

In a wrestling match, as long as the one on the floor can keep raising the hand, the other cannot be declared the winner. Your Father is not a loser and as a lion He gives in to no one. You as His offspring should do likewise. You are born to win. Stand therefore with the whole armour of God in place.

The whole armour of God

The armour of God enables you to stand strong no matter how long it may take. It is the dressing for victory over your enemies. It will ensure that the enemy does not steal, kill or destroy anything that concerns you.  These include:

1. Helmet of salvation – is being born again having heard the word of life, which is giving your life to Jesus and accepting Him as your personal Lord and Saviour. John 3:3.

2. Breastplate of righteousness – is being and living right as stated in God's word and having a right standing with God. 2 Corinthians 5:17-21.

3. Belt of truth - embracing and living by the word, which is the truth. John 8:32. Read more...

Praise-An Act Of Faith In God Almighty

Do you believe in God Almighty? If you do, then you should be a praiser of God. Praising God is an act of faith in God and His ability to do what He said He will do. If you believe, you will praise the Lord. This post emphasizes the need for you to praise the Father as a believing Christian.

And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God - Romans 4:19-20 .NKJV).

Nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer - I Corinthians 10:10 (NKJV).

Many Christians say they believe God and His words but their actions say otherwise. They are more in doubt than they are in faith. The challenges around them are choking the word in them and they have forgotten that the just shall live by his own faith (Habakkuk 2:4) and that without faith no man can please God (Hebrews 11:6). If you believe, you will open your mouth wide and declare it, 2 Corinthians 4:13.

Praise unto the Lord declares Him bigger than all

Praise, especially when you are challenged, shows that God is bigger than your problems. But when you complain and murmur, you are saying that the problem is bigger than God. Paul and Silas were locked up in prison for preaching the gospel. Instead of murmuring against God, they chose to praise Him. They saw Him as being bigger than the chains and truly, He manifested Himself bigger by breaking the chains and opening the doors of the prison-house, Acts 16:25-26. Read more...

Praise As A Life Style Is What You Need At This Time

Do you know that life without praise unto God is a disaster? Praise unto the Lord is the solution for the challenges of life at this time. As such, making praise a life style is absolutely a wise decision. This post emphasizes the need to be praising the Father as a lifestyle.

But You are holy, O You who are enthroned in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered] - Psalm 22:3 (AMP).
Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him - Psalms 67:5-7 (NKJV).

The vine has dried up, and the fig tree has withered; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree— All the trees of the field are withered; surely joy has withered away from the sons of men - Joel 1:12 (NKJV).

The enemy has so screwed this earth that many people are living in fear, anger, hunger, sickness and disease, poverty, depression and frustration. It now looks as if it is the normal thing. However, it was not so originally. It is the absence of adequate praise unto the Lord that resulted in what we are seeing and experiencing this day.

Praise changes the atmosphere of a place. It determines what force or power that takes charge of an environment or situation. Praise unto God brings Him to the scene while praise to the devil attracts the enemy. Are you wondering how people praise the devil? Any time you are declaring the works of the enemy you are praising him. You are expected to declare the works of God at all times.

What happens when you praise God?

1. God dwells with you - Psalm 22:3
God dwells wherever praise is offered. This leads to abundant joy because you find joy in the presence of God (Psalm 16:11). Where there is joy, there is fruitfulness and no dryness. Dryness connotes among other things famine and poverty. Also, if God is for you, who can be against you (Romans 8:31). When God is with you, the enemy can't afflict you. Read more...
