Hand Over Your Battle In A Dance

Are you crying or shouting over the challenges in your life? If you are, how far have you gone in solving them? One thing I am sure of by experience is that crying over challenges never gets it solved. But there is a way to get it solved: in a dance! This post tells you how to win a battle by dancing. Come along with me.

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation (Psalm 149:3-4, NKJV, emphasis mine)

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord. (Psalm 149:6-9, NKJV)

The storms of life will surely come, but how you respond to it is what really matters. There are times; you will feel that you don’t know what else to do; everything seems to be crowding you and wanting to choke you. The wisest thing to do at such a time is to get up and shout “Halleluiah!” And start digging it in a dance unto God.

Sing praises unto God from your heart and dance vigorously.

Why praise in a dance?
This is an act of your faith in God who is King of kings and is above all. In a praise-dance you hand over your battle to God. You are saying, “God I can’t handle this, I can’t defeat them but you can handle and have defeated these, (John 16:33)” Your fight is not a physical fight but a spiritual one (Ephesians 6:12) and so requires a spiritual approach. A praise-dance is a spiritual weapon for warfare. The enemy is powerless when you engage it because it gets God involved and who can stand our God! Read more...

Run through a troop and leap over the wall

What is that mountain before you that is posing insurmountable? What is that impossible case that has kept sleep away from you? No matter what the case may be, there is a higher force greater than it that is for you. By this higher power you can run through a troop and, if you need to, leap over a wall. This post tells you how to engage this mighty force for your victory.

For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall – Psalm 18:29 (NKJV)

But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26 (NKJV)

Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes around, I will return to you and Sarah shall have borne a son – Genesis 18:14 (AMP)
God is the mighty force that you can’t ignore if you want to live a victorious life. No matter how thick a troop may be, with God you can run through it. And no matter how high a wall may be, with God you can leap over it, for there is nothing impossible or difficult for God.  And if God is for you, no one can be against you – Romans 8:31

If God can cause a ninety-year old Sarah to conceive, carry the pregnancy for nine months and deliver safely (Genesis 21:1,2,7), there is nothing of His will that God cannot do for you. If He could part the sea so that the Israelites could walk on dry ground (Exodus 14:29), He will level any mountain before you.
But for you to keep enjoying God’s mighty power and strength, you need to have the following virtues:
  • Fear of the lord - Psalm 25:12
The fear of God in you pulls God to teach you the way you should go to overcome any obstacle before you. David was a man who greatly feared God and he never lost a battle. He would always enquire from God for each battle and God would give him directions on what he should do at every point in time. So, David could run through troops and leap over walls because God helped him – Psalm 18:29. Read more...

Your Full Joy Is In Fulfilling Your Destiny

Have you ever sat down and wondered what you are doing in this world? Days turn to weeks and weeks to months and then years, and you wonder, “When will this end?”  But it ought not to be so! God made you and gave you breathe to work and enjoy His creation (Genesis 1:27-30), and to give Him praise (Psalm 150:6). Everyday of your life should be full of joy and peace and this post tells you how to achieve this.

And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” – Luke 2:49 (NKJV)

Pharaoh also said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no man may lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.” – Genesis 41:44 (NKJV)

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5 (NKJV)

Many people, when that emptiness comes and they wonder what they are doing on earth, don’t look for the answer from the right place. And when the hopelessness continues, suicide sometimes becomes an option for them, in order to end it fast. This I tell you is one of the worst decisions one can make on earth, because it is “first class” ticket to hell! Truly, you won’t want to go there.

We are all made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27) but God has different plans for every one of us. For Abraham, the Lord called him to be a great nation and a blessing through which all the families of the earth will be blessed (Genesis 12:2-3); for Joseph, He called him to save many people alive during the famine (Genesis 50:20); for Jeremiah, He called him to be a prophet to the nations (Jeremiah 1:5), and for Jesus Christ, God called Him to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:21). And for me, I am called to write for Him online. Read more...
