Are you crying or shouting over the challenges in your life? If you are, how far have you gone in solving them? One thing I
am sure of by experience is that crying over challenges never gets it
solved. But there is a way to get it solved: in a dance! This post
tells you how to win a battle by dancing. Come along with me.
Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation (Psalm 149:3-4, NKJV, emphasis mine)
Let
the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in
their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon
the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with
fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour
have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord. (Psalm 149:6-9, NKJV)
The storms of life
will surely come, but how you respond to it is what really matters.
There are times; you will feel that you don’t know what else to do;
everything seems to be crowding
you and wanting to choke you. The wisest thing to do at such a time is
to get up and shout “Halleluiah!” And start digging it in a dance unto
God.
Sing praises unto God from your heart and dance vigorously.
Why praise in a dance?
This
is an act of your faith in God who is King of kings and is above all.
In a praise-dance you hand over your battle to God. You are saying, “God
I can’t handle this, I can’t defeat them but you can handle and have
defeated these, (John 16:33)” Your fight is not a physical fight but a
spiritual one (Ephesians 6:12) and so requires a spiritual approach. A
praise-dance is a spiritual weapon for warfare. The enemy is powerless
when you engage it because it gets God involved and who can stand our
God! Read more...
