He Cried And They Did Not Hear

Have you ever cried to God and it is as if He didn’t hear? If it is true, what could be the problem? God is not deaf, so if your cry seems not answered there must be a reason. This post explains one of the reasons why God would not hear you.

Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the Lord of hosts – Zechariah 7:13 (KJV)

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded – James 4:8 (NKJV)

A one-sided love will not produce the best in a relationship. When one person is the only one giving in a relationship, a day will come when he will cease to give. So also, in your relationship with God, He says draw near to Me and I will draw near to you (James 4:8); take one step towards me and I will take steps towards you.
