What can rob your peace of mind? There are little foxes that
you must beware of if you want to consistently be at peace. These foxes when
not warded off have the power to destroy whatever they can lay their paws on.
Therefore it is most important that you identify and deal with them.
Catch us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines, for
our vines have tender grapes. - Song of Solomon 2:15 (NKJV)
Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I
now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not
let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing
yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be
fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] – John 14:27 (AMP)
God has given you peace of mind through
His son Jesus, but you need to diligently guard your heart in order to keep
away anything that may trouble it. The root cause of no peace is lack of focus
on Jesus, the Prince of peace. Anything that aims at taking your focus off
Jesus is targeting your peace. Therefore, you must ensure that you deny these
little foxes access to your heart.

from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs. 1
