Have you ever wondered how you can access the love of God?
Christian believers need to possess and walk in God’s love for them to enjoy
the blessings of God. It therefore becomes necessary that a Christian believer
engages the help of the Holy Spirit, who is the distributor and facilitator of
the Lord’s perfect love, in order to access and enjoy its benefits.
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has
been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us – Romans
5:5 (NKJV)
But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate,
Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name
[in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all
things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your
remembrance) everything I have told you – John 14:26 (AMP)
The Holy Spirit distributes the love of God into the hearts
of Christian believers. At new birth,
every Christian believer possesses the love of Christ by the help of the Holy
Spirit. And the power to walk in love is released at this time. In other words,
as a believer you have the God-given ability to walk in God’s love within you.
The Spirit of God also facilitates the love of God through
you. He helps you to show love to people. It is not by your might or by your
power but by the help of Holy Spirit. Unconditional love is impossible without
His help. He is the one who empowers you to love the unlovable and to make unthinkable
