God Is faithful Now And Forever More

What has God promised you in His word or laid in your heart that is yet to be fulfilled? Do you wonder whether God will still do what He said He would do for you? I have good news for you – God is faithful to keep all His promises to you now and forever more.
As my spiritual mother, Pastor Faith Oyedepo would say, God is too faithful to fail. No matter what the situation may be God will never fail. His faithfulness is forevermore. He has all it takes to fulfil ALL promises.

REASONS TO TRUST THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD

1.       He is God not man
Numbers 23:19a (KJV) says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent...”  Man does not always have full control of his circumstances to keep his words all the time but God does

2.       He is a covenant keeping God
Psalm 89:34 (KJV) says, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” God respects covenants and His words (scriptures) are His covenants with man. God’s own part of the covenant is always constant and fulfilled. It is man’s own part that is always changing. God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
3.       What He says He means
Numbers 23:19b (KJV) says, “...hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?.” Also Isaiah 55:11 says, “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” God does not play with His promises. If He said it then consider it done. God is faithful. Read more...

A Work In Progress

Sometime ago, I was reflecting on my steps with God and a poem came into my mind. And I want to share it with you here. I believe it will bless you too.
----------------------------------------------------------
I am a work in progress
Not a finished product
But I am in the process

I am in the hand of my maker
As a clay in the hand of a potter
Being moulded by the perfect moulder

I don’t look like who I am called to be
But I am not ashamed of what I am now
For I do not despise my little beginnings

I rejoice at every stage of my becoming
I praise my maker for what I will become
I will never allow myself to be beclouded

What Is In The Name-I AM THAT I AM

Names are powerful and they describe the bearer’s character, attitude and future. Therefore, the significance of a name should be considered before a person or thing is named.  God, the initiator of this principle, applied this truth in all His names. The name, “I AM THAT I AM” certainly is not an exception. This article gives the meaning of this God’s name and how we can apply it in our daily walk with God.

The first time this name was mentioned was in Exodus 3:14 (KJV), “And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you” Prior to this verse, Moses had asked God what he was to call Him if the children of Israel should ask for His name. Moses knew that the children of God would want to know what authority or power this God has to overcome their slave masters. The name of a god describes what to expect of him.

The name I AM THAT I AM means that out of all God’s names, He is what you believe Him to be to you. For instance, He is called Jehovah Ropheka- the Lord our Healer. If you believe Him to be your healer, then you will enjoy divine healing and good health. Again He is called Alpha and Omega. So if you believe Him to be the Alpha and Omega of your life, then you will trust Him with your whole life since He knows the beginning and the ending of your life.

Whatever name of God you believe in, the meaning of that name will be made manifest in your life. It is one thing to know the names of God and it is another thing to believe in the manifestation of their meaning in your life. Therefore, the significance of the name “I AM THAT I AM” in your life depends on your faith in the names of God. Read more...
