7 Benefits Of Quiet Time

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” Matt 6:33 (KJV). You are a product of what you do daily. Having daily quiet times with God is the best investment into your all round success in life.
Quiet time is the time you spend in God’s presence, reading His word and praying. It is a time you shut down every other thing to focus on God. It is a time to fellowship with God and enjoy the Father-Child relationship.

You rub mind with the Most High God during your time with Him. His virtues rub off on you and you start becoming like Him. That means you become more and more successful as you spend more time with the God of success. Isn’t that great!
Now, let’s look at how Quiet time affects your all round success in life.

Benefits of Quiet time
1.       Wisdom- “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise...” 2 Tim 3:15 (KJV). Many of our problems are purely wisdom problems. You acquire wisdom on how to go about every aspect of your life, how to enjoy a successful marital and family life, success in business or career, total health, etc. For instance, Proverbs is full of practical wisdom nuggets for all round success in life. Furthermore, during prayers God drops the wisdom on how to handle any issue bugging you.

2.       Knowledge-“Call unto me, and I will answer thee and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not” Jer 33:3 (KJV) Quiet time enables you to gain knowledge from the creator of the whole universe. Yes, even that thing that is like a mystery to you!

3.       Understanding- Have you ever gotten to a point where a thing is like parable to you? All that gets sorted out when you spend time in God’s word and in prayer. “But only with God are perfect wisdom and might; He alone has true counsel and understanding” Job 12:13 (AMP) Read more...

Man’s Relationship with God

Hi Jesus loves you
“What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of (earthborn) man that You care for him”, Psalm 8:4. (AMP) God’s relationship with man is very important to Him. Man’s daily walk is a reflection of his relationship with God, whether good or bad. An understanding of God’s view of this connection will affect man’s way of life.

God instituted this relationship with man. He made man in His own likeness. (Gen 1:27). Man was created to be like God, think, speak and act like Him. Man was to have total dominion on earth while God rules in heaven. (Psalm 115:16) Also, He created man to fellowship with him. Gen 3:8 makes us to understand that God would come and fellowship with Adam in the garden in the cool of the day.

This relationship of God with man is motivated by His love for man. Even when Adam and Eve sinned, He still made a better covering (coats of skin) for them than the apron of fig leaves they made for themselves. (Gen 3:7, 21). And to express how much He loved man and desired a restoration of the kind of relationship He had with Adam and Eve, He gave His only son, Jesus Christ for mankind. (John 3:16)

Man violated this fellowship with God when Adam disobeyed God and obeyed the devil. (Gen 3:11, 17) Unfortunately people still disobey God and obey the devil, thereby affecting their relationship with God. Our fellowship with God is determined by how much we love Him and obey His Word. (John 14:23) The level of obedience to God created two categories of people with different levels of relationship with God- the people of the world and the believers (John 14:17-24) Read more...

Confessions-Untapped Key to Success in Life

Have you been working very hard with no success in view? You have done all you know but the key to success seem to be missing. I have good news for you today; the untapped secret of success in life is confession. Confessions are like mortar binding up all your effort for speedy results.

Mark 11:23 tells us that we shall have what we say. In other words, we attract what we say to our lives. The things we are experiencing today are results of the things we said yesterdays. Also, our faith increases or decreases with what we say because faith comes by hearing. The more you keep hearing a particular thing the more you believe it.

The question now is what confessions are you to be making?
Many people work hard with their minds and hands, even with their resources but destroy all with their mouth. You need to change your words if that describes you. Learn to say ONLY what you want to have, no matter what the circumstances around you are screaming. Read more...
