Why You Must Increase Your Expectation On The Word Of God

 


 

What do you expect from the word of God? Your expectation is a function of what you know and understand of God's word. And the word of God delivers to you what you expect from it; for your expectation shall not be cut off. Therefore, increase your expectation of the word of God to increase what it delivers to you.

 

For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off - Proverbs 23:18 (KJV).

 

My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh - Proverbs 4:20-22 (NKJV).

Introduction

There is so much to gain being saved, but they're subject to your expectation on the word. However, many believing Christians are suffering and they get destroyed because of ignorance of what the Word offers them. Yet, the word of God is the life of a believer, for you live by the word. So, every believer must soak himself with God's word and expect the Lord to confirm His word in his life to benefit from it.

Why You Must Increase Your Expectation On The Word Of God

1.You're born and maintained by the word

Everything in this world, including you, was made by God's word. And the Lord upholds His creation by the word of His power. So, if you want to operate at your best you must breathe and eat the word. This is because your spirit, soul and body will grow and respond maximally when you give them what they are made of; while any other intake will make them malfunction.

 

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible - Hebrews 11:3 (NKJV).

 

Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high - Hebrews 1:3 (NKJV). Read more
