Self Forgiveness-Key For a Prosperous New Year

I messed up and contributed to my problems. It was all my fault, things would have been better by now. I failed last year, how can I forgive myself. You must have heard or said such lamenting words before. Self-forgiveness is a necessary step to take if you are to enjoy this New Year. Self-forgiveness is a key for a prosperous New Year

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God – 1 John 3:21.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness – 1 John 1:9

Introduction

Anyone driving and looking back is heading for a crash. And anyone who pins someone down on the floor is going nowhere. Truly, it is good to look back and learn from the past but not dwell in it. This is because when you don’t forgive yourself for past mistakes you will hinder your progress. So, self-forgiveness is vital for you to succeed this year. Hence, don’t hold yourself down this year if you are to enjoy New Year.

What To Do

Ask God to forgive you for your wrong steps and He will forgive and forget them. And He will not hold you back on repented sins. Also, He will not stop your progress because of sins already forgiven. This is because He sees you as having done nothing when you sincerely ask for forgiveness and forsake the sin. So, see yourself as God sees you – the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

You need to love who you are and make the most of yourself. Furthermore, exercise your strong points and develop your weak points. And don’t allow your errors to break you, instead, let them make you. Also, develop the right attitude towards you to enjoy a prosperous new year.

Examine Yourself and See That You're in The Faith

How prepared are you for this year? This year surely will be great, so we should expect nothing less than greatness. Therefore, engage diligence in whatever you're doing, expecting God to crown your efforts with great results. However, you must be diligent too in your walk with God. This post encourages you to examine yourself and see that you're in the faith.

“Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.”

- 2 Corinthians 13:5 (NKJV).

Introduction

It's important that you put in your best and work hard this year. However, in all you do, do it as unto the Lord. This is because your work, ambition, and activities are to occupy you till Christ comes. Therefore, while we engage in fruitful and honoring activities, we must not neglect the most important thing in life: our walk with God.

Truly, we're pilgrims on earth as Jacob acknowledged in Genesis 47:9. However, our walk with God here on earth determines where we will go, and our rewards after this life. And this is the truth and it will never be changed.

Examine Yourself

Therefore, I charge you to examine yourself and see that you're in the faith. This you should do on a daily basis because Christ will come as a thief in the night (1 Thessalonians 5:2). So, you must always be prepared in spite of what is happening in the world.

Thus, as you plan for success and greatness this year, also plan for your spiritual growth. So, build up your spiritual life and increase your service unto the Lord. This is what counts for you in heaven. For all other activities are for you to occupy till Jesus comes. Therefore, pay more attention to your walk with God. Read more...

The Blessings Of Abraham And The Holy Spirit

A New Year, a new month, a new beginning full of testimonies! God is set to change your story and take you higher in life. However, you need to engage the provisions made available for you. And this includes the blessings of Abraham and the promise of the Holy Spirit.

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

- Galatians 3:13-14 (NKJV).

In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

  • Ephesians 1:13-14 (NKJV).

Introduction

I thank God, the Faithful One, who kept us all through last year and caused us to see this New Year. Truly, last year sent many to their early graves but the Lord exempted us. And for that, I say glory to God!

Also, our Father brought us into this New Year, not to abandon us or forsake us, but to bless us. For the path of the just shines brighter and brighter by the day. However, for this year to yield her increase to you, you must understand the provisions made available to you in redemption.

Redemption From The Curse Of Law

It's wonderful that not long after the celebration of the birth of Christ, we have the New Year. This gives us the opportunity to connect with the Lord who is able to bring about peace and joy in our lives. Read more...
