Move From Being A Baby To Being A Matured Co-Heir With Christ

Are you a baby still drinking milk or matured co-heir with Christ eating solid food? What you are determines the authority you can exercise and level of freedom from oppression you enjoy. A baby is highly vulnerable to predators and so should not be a stage any believing Christian should occupy for long. This post encourages you to quickly grow into being a matured co-heir with Christ.

Now I say that the heir, as long as he is a child, does not differ at all from a slave, though he is master of all, but is under guardians and stewards until the time appointed by the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world – Galatians 4:1-3 (NKJV).

I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able – I Corinthians 3:2 (NKJV).

For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil – Hebrews 5:13-14 (NKJV).

At salvation, you are a baby in the Lord who can only receive milk and not solid food. However, it is expected that you should soon be able to chew solid food. The speed with which you graduate to solid food depends solely on you. You are the one to try your hands on the word of righteousness, use it and have your senses exercised to discern both good and evil. You are the one to put the word to work in your life, that is, believe in the word of God, act on it and expect it to do what God says it will do in your life. As you act on God’s word and see results, your faith to act more on the Lord’s word increases, as such you will be growing from a baby to a matured co-heir with Christ. Read more...

Remain Positioned In Your God Ordained Work For You To Enjoy His Backing

Are you on your God ordained work? Many Christians are on other people's assignments leaving their own unattended. Being at the center of God's perfect plan for your life will always enable you to enjoy His backing and lifting. This post encourages you to remain positioned in your own assignment from God for you to enjoy His full backing.

They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of war; every one marches in formation, and they do not break ranks. They do not push one another; every one marches in his own column. Though they lunge between the weapons, they are not cut down - Joel 2:7-8 (NKJV).

He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it - I Thessalonians 5:24 (NKJV).

It is one thing to serve God and it's another to serve Him acceptably. Many Christians are fully engaged in one thing or the other, but the question is, "Is it acceptable unto the Father?" Some of the Christians are engaged in their work basically for the money while some are engaged for money and recognition or power. Anything you are doing that is not commissioned by the Lord will not have His backing.

When you send yourself you will have to support yourself. You will provide and protect yourself. You will work with your limited wisdom and you can't go beyond your ability, which is grossly limited. You will find yourself struggling and frustrated in the process. You will work so much and have little or nothing to show for it. This is not God's best for you.

When someone is prospering in a particular work, it doesn't mean that you will prosper in it. So also, when someone is not doing well in a thing, it doesn't mean that when you do it, you will also not do well. The truth is that if God sends you to do a particular thing, you will exceedingly do well in it. Don't compare yourself with others, for it is foolishness to do so (2 Corinthians 10:12). If God Be For You Who Can Be Against You

What is still holding you bound to fear? You have been released from all kinds of fear including the fear of death, which is the main thing holding people in bondage all their lifetime (Hebrews 2:15). As a child of God you have no reason to fear again, for if God be for you, WHO can be against you? This post aims at making you see that the Lord is bigger than all your fears.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31 (NKJV).

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. All nations surrounded me, but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them - Psalms 118:6, 8, 10 (NKJV).

Many people are so fearful. They are afflicted by fear of so many things: fear of the devil, fear of wicked men, failure, rejection, poverty and sickness. However, this is so because of, first their ignorance of whom the Almighty God is and secondly, what they have surrounded themselves with. They allow themselves to be fed with the evils and wickedness in this world and so become clogged with fear. You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32). You must choose Christ to enjoy deliverance and protection from Him.

Two forces on earth

There are only two forces determining which direction you will go: God and Satan. Everything on earth concerning you is governed by either of these two, and who you yield yourself to determines what becomes of you (Romans 6:16).

The Almighty God cannot be compared with the devil, but unfortunately many people fear him more than they fear the Lord. God is the creator of the devil, why should you fear the created? The enemy is subject to Christ (Colossians 2:10), so if Christ is for you can the enemy be against you? The Lord is more powerful and wiser, and His words never fall to the ground (Isaiah 55:11). Be Not Anxious For Your Heavenly Father Knows That You Have Need Of These Things

Are you anxious about your financial state? Many believing Christians live as if they are orphans or that they have an irresponsible Father. Yet they are living purely out of ignorance or disobedience. If men know how to give good gifts to their children how much more God your Father! It's time to seek the Lord and find Him. This post emphasizes that you should not be anxious about anything as a child of the Almighty God.

Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble - Matthew 6:31-34 (NKJV).

Many Christians toil all day and night and start all over the next day only to still subject themselves to anxiety. Should they sit and ask themselves questions and seek answers in line with God's word, they will discover that they have only wasted their energy and time by worrying and in the process displeased their Heavenly Father (Hebrews 11:6). Now, this is not that you are not to work or think towards solving a challenge but that you should not be anxious about anything.

Your Father in heaven is a loving and responsible Father. He knows your needs and is more than capable to provide all your needs. If He gave His only son for you, how will He not with Christ freely give you all things (Romans 8:32)? All He asks of you is that you should believe in Him as your Father and seek first His kingdom (Matthew 6:33). Having anxiety shows that you don't trust Him to play His role as your Father. Be Jesus Donkey And Walk On Blessings

Are you Christ’s donkey? The present Church of Christ is not seeing the measure of signs and wonders the early Church saw because we have much fewer donkeys of Christ than they had. This poses as a big limitation to the manifestation of God’s power in our time. This post encourages you to become a true Jesus donkey and then walk on blessings.

Then they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their clothes on it, and He sat on it. And many spread their clothes on the road, and others cut down leafy branches from the trees and spread them on the road - Mark 11:7-8 (NKJV)

Even so on your part, when you have done everything that was assigned and commanded you, say, We are unworthy servants [possessing no merit, for we have not gone beyond our obligation]; we have [merely] done what was our duty to do  - Luke 17:10 (AMPC).

Many Christian believers truly want to serve God but they are not fully ready to be His donkey. This may be due to ignorance, pride or greed depending on their level of understanding. What they seem not to understand is that being Christ’s donkey draws blessings to them, including material blessings.

A donkey is seen as a lowly animal compared to a horse. Jesus rode on it as a king into Jerusalem, however, it was the donkey that rode on the clothes and leafy branches spread on the road for Jesus. So, you being Christ’s donkey gives you the opportunity to get the blessings while He gets the praises. Unfortunately, this is not the case with the church presently.

Many people are serving God but Christ’s manifestations are limited in their ministry because they are either sharing the podium with Christ or are more interested in their bellies (Romans 16:18): what to have, eat and wear (Matthew 6:25-34), and so mix God’s will with theirs. Read more...
