It Pays To Walk In Love

Is it worth walking in love? Some people think that walking in love is weakness and that they will get nothing in return for all their efforts. However, the truth is that those who enjoy the most are those who are walking in Love. This is because God’s attention is drawn to those who obey His commandments; and one of His commandments is that we walk in love - 1 John 4:21.

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” – 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister – Hebrews 6:10 (NKJV)

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him… – 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NKJV)

It really pays to walk in love. God is love and He is looking for people through whom He can channel His love to men. And just like the saying goes, “the pipe that carries cold water is first cooled”, every channel of the love of God is first blessed with God’s blessings. Remember, the husband man that labours must be first to partake of the fruit, (2 Timothy 2:6)

The challenge is that some people consider only the answers to their prayers yet to come, as reward for their labor of love; meanwhile many other blessings, favour and healings, etc., had been showered on them. There are some things that money cannot buy but God is more than able to take care of them. God truly rewards His faithful followers, even with their desired answered prayers. Read more...

God And Your Successful Profession

What has God to do with my profession? Many people wonder what relationship there is between God and their business or career. Some others don’t think it’s something to think about. The truth however is that the level of your success depends on God. This article explains the relationship between the Lord and your profession.

“…but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits” Daniel 11:32 (NKJV)

For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them – Psalm 44:3 (NKJV)

A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps – Proverbs 16:9 (NKJV)

Some people think that one’s profession is not a spiritual exercise and so does not involve God. But that is the beginning of their failure. It is the mercies of God that is sustaining such people.

Every activity on earth is governed by the spiritual forces: divine or evil forces. And so it calls for you to ensure that your activities are governed by divine forces. The choice is yours.

The Israelites had possession of the Promised Land, not because of their own abilities but because of the favour of God upon them. They fought with their hands and swords like their opponents but they recognized that their victory was ultimately by God. Read more...

The Perfect Senior Partner

Who actually is your senior partner in business or career? Who your partner is tells a lot about you and determines your level of success. Everyone has opportunity to choose their ideal partner, who have you chosen? This article reveals the perfect partner: the Holy Spirit.

And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father…, but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth –
 Acts 1:4, 8

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you – John 14:26

The Holy Spirit is the perfect senior partner. He empowers you to succeed in all your endeavours. He will teach you all things about your career, business or profession. The Holy Spirit, being the Alpha and Omega, knows the beginning and the ending of your field. He is the ideal choice of a partner.

Walk With God-Solution To Marriage Crisis

Many marriages are not what God ordained it to be. Marriage is to give peace and joy to the couple and glory to God. However in recent times, the rate of marriage failure has greatly increased. But there is solution to this marriage crisis and that is a walk with God!

Yet you say, “For what reason?” Because the Lord has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously; yet she is your companion and your wife by covenant – Malachi 2:14 (NKJV)

God initiated marriage in the first place with Adam and Eve and is a witness between you and your spouse. He laid down rules and regulations on how to have joy and peace in your marriage – Ephesians 5:21-31. These rules are the pillars for success in marriage.

Therefore to successfully deal with issues in your marriage, you need to purely adhere to God’s principles. And you can only appreciate these principles when you retrace your steps back to God. Your walk with God will reveal to you the areas of your marriage you need to address and God will give you the wisdom on how to address them.

Many times people tend to blame their spouses for the problems they are facing but they never consider that they may be the main cause of the problem. When you walk with God, He will always point out to you where you are going wrong and what to do to correct it. He speaks to us through our conscience and His word (the bible)

Some of the issues that cause problems in homes include lack of attention, communication breakdown, financial problems, pride etc. These are largely wisdom problems and can be dealt with when you apply the wisdom from God’s word. God’s wisdom is higher than man’s wisdom. Man’s wisdom is selfish but God’s wisdom is full of love. Read more...

King David’s Leadership Traits

Do you desire to be celebrated in your field? Then you need to learn the traits for success. Success is yours if you are ready to be and do what it takes to be successful. Knowing what to be and being it is very crucial if you want to excel in your niche. This article aims at exposing King David’s two important leadership traits that made him successful as a king.

He also chose David His servant, and took him from the sheepfolds; from following the ewes that had young He brought him, to shepherd Jacob His people, and Israel His inheritance. So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands – Psalm 78:70-72 (NKJV)

God is the ultimate leader and He makes leaders out of those who are ready to be nurtured into leadership positions. And King David was a powerful king nurtured by God. He had two powerful leadership traits that made him a celebrity that never dies.

Who was King David?
He was the Last of the eight sons of Jesse, a shepherd that became one of the greatest kings of Israel. He was a man with a passionate love for God and for his people, called a man after God’s heart by God Himself (Acts 13:22). He was also a powerful warrior and a great psalmist. And he was an ancestor of Jesus Christ. King David's story runs from 1 Samuel 16 through 1 Kings 2.

The two traits manifested by King David qualified him as the next king of Israel after King Saul. These qualities first established him as a successful shepherd and then king of Israel.

What are these leadership traits?

These qualities are integrity of heart and skillfulness of hands.

·         Integrity of heart means an honest heart, a heart that adheres to moral and ethical values. It means integrity, completeness, fullness, innocence, simplicity, uprightness, perfection - not in the sense of being flawless, but being matured and whole. There should be consistencies between what you say and who you are.
