God is ever bringing opportunities your
way but the enemy will always oppose it. So your victory lies in your ability
to overcome his oppositions. And prayer is a major tool to use in fighting the
enemy. Remember you do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places – Ephesians 6:12.
It is a spiritual battle and must be fought spiritually along side with your
physical efforts.
The more prayerful you are, the more victorious you become
and your life and destiny will be secured.
When you pray, you acknowledge your limitations as man and
the un-limitedness of God Almighty. Also, you acknowledge how little your
opposition is before God and how easy it is for God to clear the obstacles on
your way.
In prayer, you lay down your abilities and engage God’s
supreme abilities. When you pray, you surrender the challenges to God and take
your rest. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 (AMP) “Come to Me,
all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to
