Antidote For Fear Of All Types

Are you always afraid of one thing or the other? And do you want to live your life without fear of anything? The good news is that there is an antidote for fear and it is called perfect love. It is a cure for fear of all types. A full dose of it keeps you perpetually free of fear. This post reveals how to access this perfect love.

“…God is love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in him. In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection] – 1 John 4:16-18 (AMP)

You are a believing Christian and you know that fear is not of God but you find that you are often fearful of one thing or the other: afraid of tomorrow, of your family members dying, of getting any of these deadly sickness and diseases, of lack and want, etc. You have prayed, consulted counselors either personally or through their books and yet you are not free of the torments of fear. It is because your love is yet to attain perfection.

Fear is a spirit, and God has not given you the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind, 2 Timothy 1:7. Perfect love casts fear out and keeps it far away from you. And your love is made perfect as you remain in union and communion with God.

God is love, and so communion with God is communion with love. The stronger your relationship with God, the more your love is perfected and less fearful you become. This antidote for fear takes root within you and expels fear from you.

Now let’s look at the three major ways by which we commune with God. Read more...

Prayer-Securer Of Your Life And Destiny

Are you in a battle that you seem to be losing? Or do you wonder whether that big dream of yours will ever come to fruition? I have good news for you: your life and destiny can be secured through prayers. This article explains why prayer is a vital tool in realizing your heart desires.

Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak – Matthew 26:40-41(NKJV)

For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries – 1 Corinthians 16:9 (NKJV)

God is ever bringing opportunities your way but the enemy will always oppose it. So your victory lies in your ability to overcome his oppositions. And prayer is a major tool to use in fighting the enemy. Remember you do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places – Ephesians 6:12. It is a spiritual battle and must be fought spiritually along side with your physical efforts.

The more prayerful you are, the more victorious you become and your life and destiny will be secured.
When you pray, you acknowledge your limitations as man and the un-limitedness of God Almighty. Also, you acknowledge how little your opposition is before God and how easy it is for God to clear the obstacles on your way.

In prayer, you lay down your abilities and engage God’s supreme abilities. When you pray, you surrender the challenges to God and take your rest. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 (AMP) “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Read more...
