What Kingdom service are you engaged in within the house of
God? Every Kingdom work is important and honourable. There is no small service
before God. Every labour in the kingdom leads to high flying with God. This article
emphasizes the equality of the less honourable members with others in the house
of God. God is mindful of them.
No, much rather, those members of the
body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And
those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we
bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed
the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the
members should have the same care for one another – 1 Corinthians 12:22-25
(NKJV)
Many Christian believers will rather not
serve than do what they think is demeaning, unimportant, less honourable or
unnoticeable. They want to be noticed and praised by men. They forget that our God, who sees in the
secret, sees all and rewards in the open, Matthew 6:4, 18. Also, God does not
approve of those who seek praises from men, John 12:43.
Let it be known to you today that God
has given greater honour to the services that people are running away from. He
has done this so that there will be no division or disunion in the house of
Christ, and that members should have the same care for one another. God is
mindful of the less honourable members.
God has also proven this in my church.
One service that people wouldn’t want to do is the cleaning of the sanctuary,
which also includes the toilets and the surroundings of the church (under the
sun most of the time). But this service group has the most testimonies shared
in my church.
I
encourage then that you serve God from your heart no matter the kingdom service
you are engaged in. Every labour of love attracts God’s attention any day and anywhere.
Do not mind what people will say or not say, do or not do, rather mind what God
will say and do. God certainly rewards those who diligently seek Him, Hebrews
