Praise God today we celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ!

He is risen! He is no longer on the cross!

Risen for our victory and dominion!

His resurrection offers us more than just salvation

Whatever siege against your financial breakthrough, healing, academic excellence, ministry success, fruitfulness, spiritual life and blessings, etc, God can destroy by the power of His resurrection. Luke 8:43-47

So, this Easter Sunday should not go like others in your life. Enjoy the Easter celebration but make out time to seek God’s face in prayer and set yourself free from all oppressions of the enemy by invoking the resurrection power of God upon your life.

Happy Easter

God Is Mindful Of Your Service

What Kingdom service are you engaged in within the house of God? Every Kingdom work is important and honourable. There is no small service before God. Every labour in the kingdom leads to high flying with God. This article emphasizes the equality of the less honourable members with others in the house of God. God is mindful of them.

No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty, but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it, that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another – 1 Corinthians 12:22-25 (NKJV)

Many Christian believers will rather not serve than do what they think is demeaning, unimportant, less honourable or unnoticeable. They want to be noticed and praised by men.  They forget that our God, who sees in the secret, sees all and rewards in the open, Matthew 6:4, 18. Also, God does not approve of those who seek praises from men, John 12:43.

Let it be known to you today that God has given greater honour to the services that people are running away from. He has done this so that there will be no division or disunion in the house of Christ, and that members should have the same care for one another. God is mindful of the less honourable members.

God has also proven this in my church. One service that people wouldn’t want to do is the cleaning of the sanctuary, which also includes the toilets and the surroundings of the church (under the sun most of the time). But this service group has the most testimonies shared in my church.

I encourage then that you serve God from your heart no matter the kingdom service you are engaged in. Every labour of love attracts God’s attention any day and anywhere. Do not mind what people will say or not say, do or not do, rather mind what God will say and do. God certainly rewards those who diligently seek Him, Hebrews 11:6 Read more...

Understanding The Power In The Name Of Jesus

The name of Jesus is so powerful that ignorance of it is rubbing many of God's blessings and fulfilment in life. The enemy will do anything to keep man in the dark so that he can continue to oppress him. The truth is that the power in the name of Jesus brings deliverance from all oppressions of the devil and delivers dominion to mankind.

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved - Acts 4:12 (KJV)

And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. Acts 3:16 (KJV)

God understanding the power of names carefully chose the name of Jesus to reflect His purpose while on earth and after resurrection. The name of means saviour

Salvation means
  1. Deliverance from sin and its consequences.
  2. Preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss.
Therefore, there is no deliverance from sin and its consequences nor preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss except through the name of Jesus.
For you to enjoy the benefits, including healing in the name of Jesus you need to understand the power in the name.

Therefore what to know about the name Jesus:

1. His name gives us our identity
"... And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." Acts 11:26
As a Christian, you are identified with God because you believe in the name of Jesus and are expected to live like Him

2. Jesus' name is above every other name.
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philip 2:9-11 (KJV)
The name of Jesus is above the name of any sickness or disease or situation. Whatever has a name is below the name of Jesus and must give way to it, no matter where it may come from: heaven, earth or hell. Read more...

God Judge My Enemies

Shouldn’t I pray against my enemies? Am I to do nothing to those who hurt me and won’t God judge them? These and many more are bugging questions in the hearts of Christian believers. They wonder how to pray concerning the people who are really hurting them, who make them to shed tears. This Post tells you how to pray.

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust – Matthew 5:44-45 (NKJV)

For we know Him Who said, Vengeance is Mine [retribution and the meting out of full justice rest with Me]; I will repay [I will exact the compensation], says the Lord. And again, The Lord will judge and determine and solve and settle the cause and the cases of His people – Hebrews 10:30 (AMP)

[It is a fair decision] since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with distress and affliction those who distress and afflict you – 2 Thessalonians 1:6 (AMP)

Truly, the flesh desires that fire will come down from heaven, like in the days of Elijah, and consume all our enemies. But Jesus says love them, bless them, do good to them and even pray for them, so that you may be sons of your father in heaven!  Hard thing to do you may say.

But you want justice, after all God says we should persist in pray till we get justice (Luke 18:1-8). So, how else will you pray if not that they be destroyed?

God says that vengeance is His and that He will certainly judge our cases. Also, He said that it is a righteous thing to repay those who trouble you with trouble. So, God is not going to let your enemies have a great time hurting you. But you have to hand the case over to Him and let Him do it His way and not your own way. Read more...
