The Birth Of Spiritual Gurus Through Faith-Praise

Do you desire to grow more spiritually and enjoy more divine interventions? Faith-praise is one of the spiritual steps to take in order to become a spiritual guru. God dwells in the midst of praise, and when fortified by faith, it provokes divine manifestation.

Who is like You, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like You, glorious in holiness, Fearful in praises, doing wonders? Exodus 15:11 (NKJV)

“...Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful.” After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, ... As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated - 2 Chronicles 20:20-23 (NIV)

A spiritual guru is someone who understands the spiritual realm and exercises a very high authority in it. His name is feared in the kingdom of darkness and honoured in the kingdom of God. Acts 19:11-17

God is the ultimate spiritual guru and if you must be like Him then you must consistently dwell in His presence. This is because as iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend – Proverbs 27:17 (NKJV). Therefore, to be sharpened by God, you must abide with Him, and praise is the gateway to God’s presence.

Spiritual gurus understand the importance of faith-praise. It is praise backed up with faith in your heart. Faith powered praise makes tremendous spiritual step towards provoking divine interventions. Now, spiritual giants do mighty works because the Lord is with them. But nobody can attract God if there is no faith coupled with praise. God cannot dwell in a praise-less environment.

Therefore to become a spiritual guru you must learn the act of praise and also have faith in God whom you are praising: believe that He is able to do what He says He will do. Praise moves God to action but where the praise is not from the heart, He does nothing. Lip-service praise is like noise before Him. Read more...
