83.33% of time already set aside to care for you in 2011

Early this year, I read a post By Emmanuel Obu (http://www.worldswitchkingdomembassy.com) that analyzed how it took God 83.33% of His time in creation to provide man's needs and solve future problems. Though we have spent 4 months already into 2011, I believe we need to always remind ourselves of God's love for us and how He is MOST INTERESTED in taking care of us and solving every challenge in our lives. Enjoy this post and the remaining three quarters of the year.

Before God created man, He saw his needs and his future problems. And so, He created him last on the sixth day. Before the man came, God made available solutions to his needs and future problems by using the first to the fifth day of creation to provide them.
Before the famine that was going to hit the whole earth came, God planted Joseph in Egypt as a solution, to save the situation. (Genesis 41:56-57, Genesis 45:4-7)

Before the genocide plot against Israel by Haman, God planted Esther in the palace as a
solution to the salvation of Israel. (Esther 4:12-17, Esther 8:5-7)
Before the fall of man to damnation, God had already prepared Jesus Christ for redemption before creation. (1 Peter 1:18-20)

Understanding the Essence of Easter Celebration

 

Why do we celebrate Easter day? What is special about Easter celebration? Many people celebrate Easter without understanding the reason behind the celebration. For some people it is just a holiday period while for others, it is a time to rest from the daily hassles of office work, etc. This post is to give you a better understanding of Easter celebrations for long lasting effects.

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death – Revelation 1:18 (KJV). Easter celebration is all about the death AND the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Also, Easter day reminds us of and emphasizes our redemptive blessings.

The resurrection of Jesus is the anchor of the Christian faith. The purpose of His death would not have been complete if He did not rise again. Our victory over sin and Satan lies on death and resurrection of Jesus. This wisdom of God totally defeated the enemy. 1 Corinthians 2:7-8 says, “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” Read more...

Encounter With God: Channel For a Life Time Turn Around

A wise man said that one encounter with God is better than a life time of struggles. In this our fast world full of competitions, new innovations and challenges, many people are struggling for a turn around in their affairs of life. There is an increase in the rate of broken relationships, health break downs, insanity, debts, etc because of man’s desire for better life. But an encounter with God changes everything for a better future.

It is God’s desire for us to enjoy life, void of endless struggles. One word from God will set you on the right path. It will keep you from trials and errors, speed up your processes and deliver your desire on time and smoothly. You will enjoy peace and success in all affairs of life.

Furthermore, an encounter with the almighty builds up your faith. It gives you the right perspective to life. No matter the challenges in your life, one encounter with God will give you a life time turn around. Many people in the bible enjoyed dramatic changes in their lives, when they encountered God. I will mention only three of them.

Firstly Abraham – He was a “nobody” with a barren wife, still living with his father and relations. But when he had an encounter with God his life story changed for good. He became a channel of God blessings to the children of God (Genesis 12:1-3). Also, another encounter with the Almighty established him as a father of many nations through the birth of Isaac (Genesis 17: 1, 15-19). This encounter strengthened him during the period of waiting. He believed that what God said He would surely do, (Romans 4:17-21)

Secondly Blind Bartimaeus – One moment he was blind and the next minute he could see. His story changed when he encountered Jesus (Mark 10:46-52). He could now do things he couldn’t do before. Read more...
