The Power Of Testimonies In Boosting Your Faith

Have you ever wondered how to boost your faith? Faith is the universal currency for any transaction from heaven. Therefore you need to constantly boost up your faith in order to consistently receive anything from God. And Testimony is one important faith booster you must not neglect. This article explains the power of testimonies in getting your desires from the Lord.

Moreover David said, “The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.” – 1 Samuel 17:37 (NKJV)

Yes, again and again they tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel. They did not remember His power: The day when He redeemed them from the enemy, When He worked His signs in Egypt, And His wonders in the field of Zoan; - Psalm 78:41-43 (NKJV)

Testimonies are powerful faith boosters. When you recall what God did for you in the past and how He did it, your faith will be enhanced. Past testimonies when brought to the present situation, belittles the present challenge. It makes any seeming insurmountable problem surmountable.

Testimonies take your focus off the challenge unto God who is able to solve the challenge. It magnifies God and His abilities and your faith that God can solve your problem comes alive.  Automatically, your anxious countenance turns to smiles; the energy you used for worrying or crying is redirected to believing God for His intervention.

Also, your testimonies move God to action. They are a form of praise to God and God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). When you don’t remember the deeds of God in your life you limit Him and hinder Him from manifesting His power in your life (Psalm 78:41-43) Read more...

The Greatness Of God's Mercies

Do you know how great God’s mercy is? Something amazing is really happening between God and man! Men still forsake their maker; they continuously provoke Him to anger by their words, thoughts and actions, even to a greater measure than before. But they seem to get away with it this time. What is happening?  The truth is that God’s mercy is awesome in our time!

Therefore the Lord heard this and was furious; So a fire was kindled against Jacob, And anger also came up against Israel, Because they did not believe in God, And did not trust in His salvation – Psalm 78:21-22 (NKJV)

It is because of the Lord's mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not. [Mal. 3:6.] – Lamentations 3:22 (AMP)

God’s anger, in generations before us, raged against anybody who disobeyed Him. They always had His judgment meted out on them, sometimes immediately. People incurred God’s wrath by not believing in Him and not trusting in His salvation.

But now it seems different; even those who were church goers or were born and bred in a Christian setting say that there is no God, that heaven and hell are not real. They believe that if everything is going well for you, then you are in heaven and if not then you are in hell. What a warped mindset!

It seems as if God is sleeping or He has lost His powers to punish disobedience. The wickedness of the wicked knows no bound. And some true Christians are getting confused and are being mocked for their faith and loyalty to God. What is happening? Read more...

What To Do With Your Insufficient Resources

Have you ever desired to have a better means of livelihood but couldn’t pursue it because of insufficient resources? Or do you have a great idea for making money but lack sufficient cash to execute it? Many people are faced with this challenge today; they are sorely constrained by insufficient cash. This article aims at giving you one way to solve this challenge.

Jesus said, They do not need to go away; you give them something to eat. They said to Him, We have nothing here but five loaves and two fish. He said, Bring them here to Me. Then He ordered the crowds to recline on the grass; and He took the five loaves and the two fish, and, looking up to heaven, He gave thanks and blessed and broke the loaves and handed the pieces to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. And they all ate and were satisfied. And they picked up twelve [small hand] baskets full of the broken pieces left over – Matthew 14:16-20 (AMP, emphasis mine)

Insufficient resources should not sway you from your God-given ideas. There is a solution to that challenge, it lies in Christ. Christ has the ability and wisdom to multiply whatever that is insufficient. But He must have it first. You need to give Jesus that that is insufficient before He can multiply it. It is a sign of your permission and faith.

The disciples had insufficient loaves and fishes to be able to feed the multitude that was before them. Jesus asked them to give Him the five loaves and two fishes, and when they obeyed insufficiency became a thing of the past. Jesus blessed the insufficient resources and returned them to the disciples, but this time with the ability to multiply and be sufficient. Amazingly, when the multitude ate and were satisfied, the disciples ended up with surplus; what was insufficient before had become overflowing abundance. Read  more...

Living a life of sacrifice

Why will you live a life of sacrifice? What will you gain living a sacrificial life? Many people find it difficult to comprehend why they should sacrifice their life for another.  Yet, it is the reasonable service unto God and is loaded with great benefits. This post is aimed at helping you understand why living a life of sacrifice is crucial for you as a believing Christian.

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me – Galatians 2:20 (NKJV)

I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship – Romans 12:1 (AMP)

What is living a life of sacrifice?
It is to live your life totally for Christ. You don't think of yourself first before you say or do anything. You live purely as a soldier who has no life of his own in quote. You live as commanded by God in His word and as led by the Holy Spirit.

God actually requires every Christian to live a sacrificial life; it is an act of spiritual worship. It is actually walking in love, putting God and others first before you. It is you being a seed planted because of Christ that will certainly bring forth great harvest. Every seed planted in a good soil always brings forth good harvest and Jesus Christ is the good soil.

Jesus Christ is a perfect example of living a life of sacrifice. While He was here on earth, He did nothing of Himself, but acted according to the instructions of God the father. All His judgments were based on what He heard from God. He was able to live a sacrificial life because he did not seek His own but the will of His father who sent Him, John 5:30.  Read more...
