The Receipt For Your Redemption

Are you loosing in your battles with the enemy? What do you have to show for your redemption? I have good news for you - the blood of Jesus is your receipt for your redemption! It is what you present to claim your goods from the enemy. This post gives the virtues of the blood covenant and how you can use it to overcome satan.

Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost has made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he has purchased with his own blood - Acts 20:28 (KJV, emphasis mine)

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace - Ephesians 1:7 (KJV)

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives to the death - Revelations 12:11 (KJV)

Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing - Revelations 5:12 (KJV)

The blood of Jesus shed on the cross is the seal of our redemption and victory over the enemy. The blood of the covenant reconciled us back to God (Colossians 1:20) and restored all that the enemy stole from us. If the princes of this world knew the plan of God concerning Christ's blood, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory - 1 Corinthians 2:8

The virtues of Christ's blood

1.    Redemption - Christ redeemed you by His shed blood - Ephesians 1:7. Adam, the first man, sold us to the devil when he disobeyed God and obey the devil. And since then, humanity entered into bondage under the control of the enemy - Galatians 5:1. But Jesus, by His shed blood on the cross purchased you back. Also, your sins were forgiven and forgotten by God according to the riches of His grace - Jeremiah 31:34

2.    Sanctification - The blood of the covenant sanctified you - Hebrews 10:29. It made you pure and free from sin. You became new creature in Christ, old things were passed away and now all things have become new - 2 Corinthians 5:17. You stand before God as though you had not sinned by the blood of Jesus. No Thirst In The Desert

Do you feel led into wilderness by God? Are you afraid of obeying God because of the desert ahead of you? I have good news for you; the Lord who made the dry places knows how to bring out water from them. This article is to encourage you to walk with God through the desert without fear.

They thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out. (Isaiah 48:21 KJV)

And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot. (Deuteronomy 29:5, KJV)

And he said unto them, when I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, nothing. (Luke 22:35 KJV)

Many people desire to fulfill the plan of God for their lives but they are afraid of stepping out of their comfort zones. The desert or wilderness life they foresee is scaring them away from God's perfect plan for them. They see a life with little or no provisions, uncivilized conditions and a life of solitude;    and they struggle with the uncertainty of tomorrow.

If you are in such a state and you walk uprightly, relax for when you are led by God you will lack no good thing - Psalm 84:11. God will never send you without providing for you - Philippians 4:19. He will never leave you nor forsake you - Hebrews 13:5. He will always go before you and make the crooked places straight - Isaiah 45:2

When God led the Israelites through the desert, they had food and water in abundance. He provided these from unimaginable sources: water from a rock, wind blowing in quails and manna descending from heaven; amazing I must say! Read more...

Pit To Prison To Palace!

Does it seem as if life is moving from pit to prison for you or from better to worse? And the scriptures seem not to be fulfilled in your life? I have good news for you; you may be on your way to the palace! This article is to encourage you on the journey to your promised land.

But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day – Proverbs 4:18 NKJV)

We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed – 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NKJV)

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope – Romans 5:3-4 (NKJV)

The scriptures say in Proverbs 4:18 that every day should be better than yesterday but you see that sometimes it seems not to be so. Is it not supposed to be so for a Christian? It should be so for every Christian believer.

You need to recognize that though physically, your path may not be brighter, spiritually it is so. The spiritual realm governs the physical and once the spiritual realm is brighter, the physical will soon become brighter. Read more...

One Step At A Time

Can you image a child learning how to walk today and tomorrow he is driving? I know you can’t imagine it. But that is what many people expect God to do for them. They want to take giant steps beyond God’s way. One step at a time is God’s style and it always gets you to the peak if you stick to the Lord. This article gives the reasons why this way of the Almighty is the best approach to life.

A bishop then must be blameless…not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil – 1 Timothy 3:2, 6 (emphasis mine, NKJV)

But the word of the Lord was to them, “Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little,” Isaiah 28:13

I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the beasts of the field become too numerous for you. Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land – Exodus 23:29-30 (NKJV)

Multiple promotions are desirable but not at the detriment of one’s future or destiny. A father, no matter how much he loves his six year old boy, will not allow him to drive his car. Also, no pupil starts primary one or standard one today and next session he is in the secondary school. It is always one step at a time. This is God’s way and God, our creator, is the originator of this way.

Every newborn baby always starts with milk and gradually graduates to solids (1 Peter 2:2). This principle applies both to spiritual and physical growth. Also, in leadership positions, whether spiritual or physical, nobody puts a novice in leadership position. Everyone needs to grow into any new and higher position. Read more...

Cure For Complaining And Murmuring

How can I ever stop complaining and murmuring? Everyday has a load of opportunities to complain or murmur. Your response when they are presented to you determines the rest of the day and most times your life. It is your choice to respond positively, and for you to constantly make the right choice you need a thankful heart. This article depicts a thankful heart as a cure for complaining.

“nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer” – 1 Corinthians 10:10 (NKJV)

A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones – Proverbs 17:22 (NKJV)

Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world – Philippians 2:14-15 (NKJV)

How many times have you complained or murmured today? How far has it helped you or affected your attitude? You will agree with me that it is not good for anyone. Murmuring and complaining only open the door for the destroyer to come in. It comes to destroy your peace, home, relationships and health.

A life of complaint breeds from a heart void of gratitude and contentment. It leads to fault finding and dissatisfaction, wipes off smile from your face and replaces it with a frown and pointed lips, and dries up your bones. It makes you not to remember or see the good things about your spouse, family, colleague, work place or environment.

However, a thankful heart sees every reason to thank God in everybody and every situation. It is a cure for complaining. A heart of gratitude appreciates every little thing good around her and magnifies that above any negative thing; thereby attracting good to herself. Read more...
