Benefits Of Walking In Love (Part 2)

Hi, Jesus loves you.

The post of today gives the concluding part of "Benefits of walking in love". It really pays to walk in love. May God give you the grace to do so in Jesus name. You are blessed.
-------------------------------------------------------
6.       Confidence on the day of judgement
In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him – 1 John 4:17 (NIV)
A walk in love builds up the confidence that you will be accepted by God on the day of judgement: you will be at peace, without shame and reproach. You will not be afraid of death because you are sure of eternity with Jesus.

 7.       God’s presence
Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him – John 14:23 (NKJV)
You are a carrier of God’s presence when you walk in the love of God. Both Jesus and the father make their home with you when you are walking in love. And when you have God’s presence victory is assured.

 8.       Joy and pleasure
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore – Psalm 16:11 (NKJV)
Joy and pleasure are also benefits of walking in love. You experience joy when you show love to another person. Also you are pleased being a contributor to the destines of many other people. Read more...

Benefits of Walking In Love (Part 1)

God has not called people to seek Him in vain. It pays to walk in love in obedience to God’s word. Walking in the love of God not only gives you eternal life in heaven but also great earthly benefits. These benefits are very vital if you are to enjoy victory and success in life.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome - 1 John 5:3 (NKJV)

In that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess – Deuteronomy 30:16 (NKJV)

Walking in the love of God is to walk in the commands of God, in obedience to His words. God is love and everyone born of God is expected to love, because it is a proof that you know God. God called us to bless us and so as you obey Him you enjoy the benefits that go with obedience to God.

Benefits of walking in love:
1.  Blessings
Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God – Deuteronomy 28:1-2 (NKJV)

Walk in love and you will attract God’s blessings to yourself. It is automatic that when you love your neighbour as Jesus loves, showers of blessings are released to you. Therefore, if you want to experience God’s awesome blessings, the best thing to do is to love unconditionally. Read more...

The Power Of Love

Christian living is synonymous with love. Every Christian must possess and exercise the power of love. It is most crucial in your Christian life because it determines both your earthly and eternal benefits. He who does not love does not and never did know God, for God is love.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life – John 3:16 (KJV)

Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins [forgives and disregards the offenses of others]- 1 Peter 4:8 (AMP)

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another –John 13:34-35 (KJV)

God exercised the power of love when He gave Jesus, His only son (who knew no sin) for mankind. He freely gives us all things since He was able to deliver His only son for us all. That means He will never withhold any good thing from us since He didn’t withhold sacrificing Jesus for us.

Jesus Himself also manifested the power of love by accepting to die the most shameful death on the cross for mankind. And He left a commandment that we should love even as He had shown us. Jesus would never ask us to do the impossible if it was so. Therefore, in our Christian life, Jesus expects us to walk in love towards one another.

According to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (AMP)
Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Read more...

How To Know Jesus More

Do you desire to know the saviour more than you do presently? Whatever your reason for desiring to know Christ, knowing the Lord more is a huge step towards a more glorious life full of peace, victory and blessings. This article teaches you how to know Jesus more.

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death – Philippians 3:10 (KJV)

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you –John 14:26 (KJV, emphasis is mine)

Life without Christ is life full of crisis. That means, the deeper you know Christ, the farther away from crisis you get. Also, since Jesus is the way to God the Father, the closer you are to Christ the more access you have to God’s blessings. Therefore, learning how to know Christ more is a wise thing to do.

How to know Jesus more

1.       Have an open heart
Ask God to give you an open heart to learn more about the Lord. A mind clogged with philosophy and traditions of men will find it difficult to know the Lord more. There is need for you to have an open mind towards the gospel of Jesus so He can reveal Himself to you.

2.       Ask for the help of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is there to reveal Christ to you, so engage His help. He is the most authentic person to consult about Jesus. Just ask Him to teach you more about Jesus and expect Him to do so and I tell you He will.

3.       Study the bible
If you want to know more about anybody, read about the person. Likewise, if you want to know Jesus more, study the bible. The scriptures, from Genesis to revelation, are centred on Jesus Christ. They talk about Him; Jesus is the word of God. Also, the Word is spirit and life and so it imparts your life. No man or written materials can correctly inform you about Christ better than the bible.

4.       Pray
The longer you stay with an individual, the better you know him or her. So also, the more time you spend fellowshipping with God in prayer, the better you get to know Jesus. This is because you can’t get to the father except through Jesus; your prayer is in the name of Jesus and your fellowship is with God the father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Read more...
