God Does Not Forget Heart Desire Asked For

Have you ever asked God to grant your heart desire and it seems as if He wouldn’t answer? Or have you ever wondered if God will ever remember you as He distributes the desire of your heart to others? The good news is that God does not forget whatever you ask Him according to His will. This article is a God story that validates the truth that God can never forget what you asked for according to His will.

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart – Psalm 37:4 (KJV)

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 1 John 5:14-15 (KJV)

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise – Hebrews 10:36 (KJV)
Many people pray for their heart desires to be granted but give up on the way if not granted immediately. Doubts and unbelief set in and rob them of their blessings. You are to believe and patiently wait for your heart desire after praying according to God’s will.
God does not forget whatever we asked for in prayers. When your faith is intact, God goes ahead to work it out for you. He does not store prayers but answers them. Sometimes, the answer may not come as you wanted but it will be better than you expected. All the logistics will be settled without stress.
This God story tells of an experience in my life (My steps with God)
When I finished my first degree, my heart desire was to further my education. My husband agreed but with a condition that I will do it from home for some family reasons. Our residence at that time made it almost impossible. (Online course was out of consideration at that time because of the cost implication) Read more...

Why Anger Should Go Down Before Sunset

Why should Anger destroy your life and destiny? Anger is outrageous and should go down before sunset! Anger is the root cause of so many evil deeds and destructions in the world today. Learning how to control anger is indeed a wise step to better tomorrow. This article gives reasons why anger should not be prolonged.

When angry, do not sin; do not ever let your wrath (your exasperation, your fury or indignation) last until the sun goes down. Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him] – Ephesians 4:26-27 (AMP)

Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools – Ecclesiastes 7:9 (KJV)
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city – Proverbs 16:32 (KJV)

A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger appeases contention. – Proverbs 15:18 (AMP)

Certainly, you will get angry sometime. But the questions are, ‘what do you do when you are angry, and does your anger go down before sunset?’ How well you control your temper determines how strong, matured and responsible you become.

Anger is very destructive! It has destroyed many marriages and families, crippled many businesses and careers. Also, people are murdered and many nations today are ravaged because of it. Furthermore, its effect on the person who is angry is not worth experiencing. Truly, anger should be curbed.

Why Anger should not be prolonged

1.       It is commanded.
God in His awesome wisdom commanded that our anger should not last until the sun goes down. This command is for our own good.

2.       Room is given to the enemy
You give opportunity to the devil to afflict you and to use you to do evil when your anger goes beyond a moment. Read more...
