Who Is Responsible For Your Peace

Do you desire to enjoy everlasting peace in your life? Peace is an awesome virtue that everybody desires to have; though the world is seriously lacking it presently. This peace is very much available, but the question is who is responsible for securing it in your life today?

Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it - Psalm 34:14 (KJV).

Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone – Romans 12:18 (NLT)

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee - Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid – John 14:27

It is your personal responsibility to secure peace in your life. You are to seek peace and pursue it. You are the one to ensure that you have peace of mind, that you live in peace with everyone as much as you can.
Many people lack peace, but they would rather blame people for not having it than do anything to acquire it. Some are seriously affected because they lack peace, their world is crumbling before them but they will not take responsibility to secure peace.

The consequences of no peace are very grievous and devastating. People’s relationships are breaking down, their health is failing, their businesses and careers are stagnant, etc. Lack of peace makes life unbearable. Read more...

Products Of Lack Of Peace Of God

How do you know when you lack the peace of God? What should you beware of if God’s peace is to remain intact within you? The peace of the Lord is the checks and balance of a glorious, fruitful and successful life. There are numerous signs or products of the absence of this peace. This article lists the signs.

And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him – Daniel 2:1 (KJV)

I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart. My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me - Psalm 38:8, 10 (KJV)

In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow– Isaiah 17:11 (KJV)

Peace is a state of being calm and quiet: a state of living in friendship with somebody without arguing or fighting- (Oxford advanced learner’s dictionary). It is also a state of having hope, being at rest and absolute trust on God.

Therefore, it is important that you are quick to identify the products of lack of peace of God. This is because dealing with them promptly will prevent them from growing into more destructive products. God wants you to be free of these manifestations in your life.

Some of these products are inward manifestations, and would have eating up the victim before manifesting outwardly. That’s the reason why they must be identified early and dealt with as fast as possible.

The products:

1.       Torments – mental suffering is an evidence that the peace of the Lord is absent in your life. God’s peace provides a soothing effect mentally.
2.       Insecurity – Lack of confidence in God’s ability to protect makes you insecure. But the peace of God releases this confidence within you.
3.       Sleepless nights – Sleep is always far from a troubled mind.
4.       Absent-mindedness – When you are troubled and you dwell in the cause of it, you tend to be absent-minded. Read more...

LOVE OF GOD-CHANNEL FOR A PEACE OF MIND

Peace of mind has really eluded many people today. Fear and anxiety of so many things, including the unknown, have taken the grip of human beings. The next minute, hour, day or month etc, has become a nightmare for the victims of troubled minds. But there is a solution to this challenge: the love of God. This article assures God’s love as the anchor for a peaceful mind

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love – 1 John 4:18 (KJV)

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus – Philippians 4:7 (KJV)

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints – 1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV)
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest – Matthew 11:28 (KJV)
Many people are really troubled in their hearts for one reason or the other. Some have given themselves to drugs, alcohol, suicide and prostitution, in attempts to drown or run away from the overwhelming challenge. The truth is that they lack God’s fatherly love and peace of God, and so are insecure in themselves.

God longs to shower His love on you because He wants your heart to pant for joy and not for fear. He wants to take away your fears and carry your burden while you rest in His love. You may not believe it but God cares for you. He longs to grant you a restful mind and wipe away the tears from your eyes.

The love of God secures a peaceful mind. When you are enveloped with God’s love, you enjoy peace of mind as one of its benefits; fear and anxiety are totally eradicated; however, joy and peace become a normal way of life for you. Read more...
