Hi Jesus loves you.
Compliments of the season
How many of your expectations were fulfilled this year? How many times were you disappointed? It is very proper for us to have great expectations, but the question is “where are you placing your expectations?” In order to avoid disappointment and have your expectations fulfilled in the New Year, you have to place your expectation on the right place. This article shows you the right and best place to do so.
So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off – Proverbs 24:14 (KJV, emphasis is mine). It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man – Psalm 118:8 (KJV)
Many people get angry, disappointed and frustrated, etc, when their expectations are not met. Unfulfilled expectations ruin relationships and sometimes can lower one’s self esteem. Also, it can make you to lose hope in yourself or/and people. It can make you to conclude that another person is unfair, ungrateful or a ‘good for nothing’ person.
The problem is not with anybody else but with the anchor for your expectation. Often, we expect too much from people. And when they fail we tend to be disappointed. We need to understand that man is limited and is liable to disappoint.
God is the true and best anchor for your expectations. He is unlimited and has the ability to, not only support your expectation but also to fulfil it. Therefore, to get your New Year expectations fulfilled, you need to put all your expectation on God and His word. Man may fail you but God will never fail you. Read more...

Enjoying End Of Year With His goodness
How has your year been? Is it better or worse than last year? Every end of year is to be better than the former. Our lives are meant to be filled with goodness. This article expresses how to end the year with the best part of blessings.
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness – Psalm 65:11 (KJV)
We really need to put in our best to get the best out of anything. A wise man said, “Put in nothing and you will get nothing”. For us to enjoy any end of year with goodness, we must have put in our own share of work, skill, diligence, love, studying, and wisdom practices, etc. But you must understand that it does not depend totally and only on your effort.
The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.
God is the ultimate authority to reckon with if you are to end the year with goodness. You need His seal on all your efforts and inputs. No matter the state of affairs with you presently, God’s touch will drop fatness. Nothing is impossible with God, only believe.
So, how far have you gone in preparation to enjoy the best part of this year? Read more...
