Reasons to submit ideas to God

Have you ever embarked on an idea and wished later that you didn’t? Sometimes such ventures can be very costly and even deadly. The best way to avoid regrets is to submit all ideas to God. This article gives you vital reasons to surrender all ideas to God.

Proverbs 14:12 (KJV) says, “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” God, the Alpha and the Omega, Knows the end from the beginning. When you submit your ideas to God you avoid any unforeseen issues on the way.

Reasons to submit ideas to God

1.       Divine direction
A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps - Proverbs 16:9 (KJV). You enjoy divine guidance when you submit your plans to God. God will order your footsteps aright and help you not to go on a wasteful or disastrous journey.

2.       Provision
And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing – Luke 22:35. When your ideas are in agreement with God’s plan for you, He supplies all that is needed for the ideas to succeed.

3.       Divine backup
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass – Psalm 37:5 (KJV). When King David submitted his battle plans to God, God not only gave him directions but also helped him, (1 Samuel 23:4). Any idea submitted to God enjoys God’s backing. Read more...

Why Submission to God Part 2

Jesus loves you.
Why should you submit to God? What would you gain by submitting to God? This post gives the remaining reason why you should submit to God.

Reasons to submit to God

6. Victory – This is guaranteed when you submit to God. God is the Almighty and He will prove Himself in any battle you may be facing. James 4:7 (KJV) – “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

7. Provision – Submission to God commands provision from Him. God is committed to supplying all your needs when you totally yield to Him. Matthew 6:31-33 (KJV) – “Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat? Or, what shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

8. Good health – Sickness and diseases are not from God. When you submit to God He takes them away from you. Exodus 23:25 –“You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst.” Read more

Why Submission to God Part 1

Hi. Jesus loves you

Why should you submit to God? What would you gain by submitting to God? There are two forces operating on earth – the good and the bad. And whichever force you submit to controls your life, (Romans 6:16). This article gives reasons why submission to God is a better choice.

We are creatures of choices and our choices determine our today and tomorrow. Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV) says, “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live:”

God is associated with good and life. When you choose God, you choose good and life. Many people think that to submit to God is to submit to bondage and misery, but the case is the very opposite. Submission to God offers freedom and happiness. What else?

Reasons to submit to God
  1. Empowerment – God certainly is far higher than the devil and submitting to God is to be empowered to operate in the same level with God. Daniel 11:32 (KJV) says, “...but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
  2. Success – God is a God of success. When you yield to God you become exposed to God’s kind of success. Joshua 1:8 (AMP) – “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success” Read more...

Is The Bible a Necessary Part of a Relationship With God

The question is “does one really need the bible to walk with God?” it can also be asked this way, “what does a relationship with God entail?” To be able to answer the question one has to understand what the bible is. An understanding of what the bible is will determine whether it is a necessary part of a relationship with God.

The bible is the word of God. It is the manual from the creator to the created on how to live successfully with joy and peace on earth created by Him. It is the book that describes the nature of God, His ways and acts to the people made in His own image. The bible is a complete biography of God and His relationship with Man. It tells of His supremacy and love for mankind.

Paul describes the bible as follows in 2 Timothy 3:16, “All scripture (the bible – emphasis mine) is given by the inspiration OF God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (KJV)

Therefore, the bible is a necessary part of a relationship with God. Just like you can’t operate a new machine unknown to you without the manual so also you cannot relate with God without the bible. The bible answers any question you will ever have. It gives solution to any challenge you will ever be faced with. It is able to do these because they are the words of God who is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. Read more...
