The Will Of God For the Wicked

What is the will of God for sinners? Many times people think they know the will of God concerning certain things when they are actually ignorant of it. But God has written His will concerning EVERY issue in His word. This article is about God’s will for the wicked.

The bible (the word of God) is full of God’s mind for everything. A study of the bible reveals the will of God for any sinner. And ignorance has made some people to condemn unbelievers. And some of the wicked, not being aware of God’s strong desire for them, have tagged themselves unqualified for God’s kingdom. 

 God’s will for the wicked is that they be saved. Let’s look at 2 passages on God’s will for sinners:

·         Ezekiel 33:11 (KJV) - Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

·         Mathew 18:12-14 (KJV) - How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish. (Emphasis is mine) Read more..

 

How To Enjoy The Best of God

Are you at the verge of deciding for Jesus but you are wondering what life in Christ holds for you? Or are you a Christian believer but you think that an unbeliever enjoys a more successful life than you do? God has not called you to seek Him in vain. This article is to tell you how to enjoy the best of God.

“I have not spoken in secret, in a corner of the land of darkness; I did not call the descendants of Jacob [to a fruitless service], saying, Seek Me for nothing [but I promised them a just reward]. I, the Lord, speak righteousness (the truth--trustworthy, straightforward correspondence between deeds and words); I declare things that are right.” Isaiah 45:19 (AMP)

God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, (Hebrews 11:6). He is not a user of men. As a covenant keeping God (Psalm 89:34), He fulfils His own part of the agreement when we fulfil our own part. God the creator of the universe, the only wise God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His children, (Psalm 35:27).

Although, God wants His people to enjoy the best of God, many of us are far from doing so. As children of God we are supposed to be ahead all the time, (Deuteronomy 28:13). We are destined to enjoy a more successful life.

There are two major things we need to observe to continually enjoy God’s best. These are:

1.       Serve God ONLY

“For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God” Exodus 34:14 (KJV). Also, Matthew 6:24 says, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

Anything that your heart pants for more than God at any time is a god to you. Furthermore, anything that is number one on your priority list other than God is a god in your life. Read more...

What to Live For On Earth To Enjoy A Most Fulfilled Life

What are you living for? What is it in your life that when it ends your life too ends? Many people lived for different reasons that made lives miserable for them and even cut short the lives of some of them.  But there is what to live for to enjoy a fulfilled life. You can enjoy a fruitful and long life when you live for the right reason.

As I was taking a walk in the morning, I for the first time took note of a bill board. It had written on it, “We live for superstars” and it had the pictures of three sport stars on it too. I wondered how long they would live for them. What if they fall out with the public or die early? What would they now live for?

Unfortunately people choose the wrong thing to live for. Some live for their children, careers, reputation, money, people, etc.  And if something unpleasant happens, they become devastated. Some die not too long after the incidence because they can’t cope with the loss or shame.

Is there really what to live for to enjoy life on earth to the full? Yes. It has to be durable and able to outlive you. The reason should be such that if anything goes wrong, your joy will still be intact. You should be able to share it with others. It should make you desire long life.

I know you may be wondering what can fit all these and many more. Philippians 1:21 gives us the answer. God’s Love-Battle Weapon for Victory

I have prayed for years and God has not yet answered. This faith stuff, is it really working? Many people who had the same challenge, but for a shorter period, have shared their testimonies; do I really believe? These thoughts and many more may have crossed your mind and you are wondering how to stay on in faith till you experience your victory. This article gives you the battle weapon to use, which is God’s love.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son...” John 3:16 (KJV) Also Romans 8:32 (KJV) says, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”  Furthermore, Isaiah 49:15 (KJV) says, “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?  Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.”

The scriptures above make it clear that God loves us and that He will give us all things without any charge. To buttress His level of love for us, He compared it with the love of a mother. It is very difficult for a mother to forget her sucking child. And God says that even if a woman does forget her own child, He Himself will NEVER forget His own child.

Therefore, no matter the challenge, remember God’s love for you. It is a battle weapon to use when the enemy is flooding your thoughts with doubts. The mind is the battle field, win in your mind and victory is yours. So when these thoughts come, open your mouth and declare that God will grant your heart desire according to His word because He loves you.
